Me and my husband went there for dinner and we had four different waiters come to us within the first 30 minutes. We ordered the salad bar and when we got up to get it the hostess gave our booth away to another group of people even though all of our personal items were still there. It took the waiter 20 minutes to decide whether we could sit there or the other family could so in that time frame our salads became soggy. When the hostess finally let us sit back down at our original booth they took our drinks and didnt give us new ones for another 30 minutes. when our main course came, all of the meat for our sandwiches were spread all over the plate and it was cold. When it was time to pay we asked the waiter if we could receive a discount for all of the inconvenience and they took $7.00 off the bill. We asked to speak to a manager and she was very rude to us and would not give us a chance to talk, all she kept repeating was "Have a nice day now" and she gave us dirty looks. I do not recommend anyone to go here unless you want to waste 2 hours sitting around, eat soggy and cold food, and want the people in charge to be mean to you.

We came here with a group. My wife ordered pasta without meet because shes vegetarian. We wanted to order pizza but they did not have it available. We asked that the waitress request that the cooks add vegetables to the pasta. They delivered pasta with only tomato sauce and to top it off charged $20. When they were questioned about it they took four dollars off and still charged $16 which I think is ridiculous for pasta with tomato sauce that tasted like it was from a can. I ordered a chicken pot pie and it was extremely salty , so salty that I had to continuously drink water for the next hour and a half and left me with a MSG kind of feel to it. On the positive side the Decour was interesting it was in a beautiful old building and the starter bread was really tasty. Overall I would definitely not come here if your vegetarian; and if you prefer quality over quantity I would choose another restaurant.

After the first 50 min all we had received was a drink and bread. One of the drinks took over 30 min and we had to track down the manager to get it. One hour after we got there we finally received our food along with the first refill of our empty ice teas. Didnt help the burgers were cold and dry. We had to ask for our salad after we received our meals. Manager came by to apologize for being slow and said it was because of the new menu. We had to return to work so we asked for togo boxes. After awhile she dropped them off at the table next to us without a saying a word. Several people came in after us and left before us. So pissed off with the service and food, wound up throwing our food in the trash. BAD SERVICE!!!

This was my first visit to this chain, so I wasnt sure what to expect. The staff were very courteous and attentive, and they were kind enough to warn us that the portions are very large when we ordered. I asked for am alcohol substitution in one of their specialty cocktails and they happily accommodated me. Our meals were very good, if somewhat standard American food. The only low point was the dessert, a sticky toffee cake, which was pretty dry and bland compared to traditional toffee cake. Still, overall, this was a nice experience, and the location is convenient to the IMAX and Crest on J street if youre planning dinner and a movie.

The food was amazing, dont get me wrong. If it was based on the food alone Id give this place a five. The night my husband and I went we were on a first real date night since our baby came and we were going to the pro bull riding competition at Golden 1. We got to the restaurant and were seated but it took 30 minutes to order and my husband didnt get his drink until after his food and we saw our waiter maybe three times the whole night. Our drinks were empty most of the night and when it came time to pay it took an extra 20 minutes and then he charged us wrong. Maybe it was just a bad night, but it was not good service at all.

This place is so ridiculously good. I was able to find parking on the street with no problem. The restaurant is huge, well decorated, and very comfortable. They give you so much great food before you get your main meal that sometimes I end up having to take my food home. One of the things that will fill you up is there complimentary garlic bread. The clam chowder here is really good and my favorite thing to order is ribeye steak. They also have some pretty good desserts. The restaurant is large enough to where you dont feel overcrowded by the party next to you and the service is great.

Came here for my birthday as a back up cause other plans fell though and man am I glad that I did , The place is clean and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere was great , it was quite a busy night as they were serving large groups . But my service was fast . I ordered a porterhouse steak . Which was delicious. They have a full bar . That was quick in service. Do not worry about parking even though It is downtown , there is a parking garage across the street . Oh yea and dessert was pretty good too . They have quite a large slice of chocolate cake on the menu .

Really excellent service and the food timing was perfect. Temperature, quality, selection all excellent. For someone who eats out often, I can usually always rely on the Landry chain of restaurants to provide a well oiled experience. They are consistent without being to persistent. One thing I have never liked is an over attentive server who interrupts conversations every two minutes. These servers know how and when to serve while keeping one eye on target for any gestured social service cues. Top notch staff Tillman.

Unless you want to overload on sodium, you have your work cut out for you if you dine there. The chicken pie was OVER 3,000 mg., the veggies up to a hair (a tiny hair) under 4,000...for VEGGIES!!!, a cup of clam chowder was over 700 and dont even dare checking the salty salads and that isnt even with the dressing. But I have to tell you, the baby back ribs plain with no sauce would knock your socks off--the best I have ever eaten and the plain green beans with only butter were excellent.

The entire experience at Claim Jumper was top notch. From outstanding servixe, amazing food, delicious drinks, and great atmosphere it did not disappoint. We actually had appetizers earlier in the day at the bar and the waitress was AMAZING. She was so friendly, fun, and made amazing recommendations for our family. When she saw us there for dinner she came over and checked on us. It was great and see would definitely return in the future.

The food is actually good. The service is very bad, more likely a management ineffectiveness. We were told server would be with us in a moment. Then we never saw our server through our entire meal!! One guy was trying to help us out but not enough at all. Plates are missing, no napkins. No service at all! The folks dropped off the food then rushed away quickly not even bother to talk. Music is too noisy. Need to improve management.
