The diner is cutesy in that overly flowery grandma kinda way and it smells inviting. I originally came to try out the chocolate biscuits and gravy. I ordered the Mediterranean Omelet with hash browns and the chocolate biscuits and gravy. My fiance had the waffle combo. The service was good, we were seated quickly, our waitress was friendly and our drinks were refilled regularly, but I found the food lacking. My omelet had an overly large amount of feta in it and my hash browns were cooked together in a large clump. Pretty much like fried mashed potatoes, nothing like regular hash browns. I was very disappointed in the chocolate biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were pretty standard breakfast biscuits, nothing to write home about, but the chocolate tasted disgusting. It was overly sweet and tasted like instant pudding, which I hate. My fiances bacon was also pretty much jerky, way too chewy.

This is by far the worst breakfast I have had since being in the Army in 1969. I ordered my eggs over easy and they came one broken looking like an egg sandwich, my hash browns were raw.They forgot my wives hash browns. I thought the coffee was very good, they were not busy and being a Ripon resident I try to support my local vendors but that would be way beyond reasonable expectations. Gary Jensen

Great food, very large servings, and very friendly down-to-earth servers. I have never been disappoinyes with the good or the service!!! The only downside is that they close after lunch! Lol Otherwise, they are amazing!!!

The best place in Ripon to get a home style cooked meal. You wont leave hungary. Service is fast and friendly. It has that small town atmosphere like a mid-west Mayberry.
