Horrible service. When I got inside to find a table it had food crumbs and little cartridge bowl of food and utensils forks and knife, you can tell it was been there for hours. The table was sticky and when the waiter came and took the old food and wipe the table he brought my drinks but when he went back to serve others, It was not even 3mins when I wanted to order or my dad too. He took to long and he even made eye contact with me to tell I was ready but still serve other people even the ones that came in, 25 min was long enough to decide to leave. Oh. And one last thing: if your going to live in America damn sure to learn to speak English. Democracy already been established here long ago, nothing more could be done about it thousand years past and u.s today has people pointed out that English language is spoken. Im Chicano but Im damn sure that if I wanted to speak different, I would have been done it if I live in a different country. To be frankly honest coming here n trying to speaking different especially talking others is a one way ticket for an ass whooping. Cant tell it to someone face, ass whooping is what you get.

Last weekend I went to La Bamba with some friends and was really excited to eat pupusas. We placed our order and waited for our food, as we waited we noticed that everyone that came after us was served chips and salsa…… we didn’t. We thought maybe we’ll get some in a little bit…..no ….still no chips. Well we got over the chip when our food arrived, as we started eating I smelled something funny. The steam that was coming off my food was not the smell of pupusas; it was the smell of BLEACH! I checked with the other two and they smelled it too! I flipped over the pupusas and the smell was SO strong it almost seemed like they were dipped in bleach. We called the waiter over and he put in a new order for us but our tummies no longer wanted pupusas. While we waited we still were not served chips and salsa but everyone else that came in was served some. If you decide to eat at La Bamba I say smell your plate before you start eating or order to go.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and was really happy to find this place. Very low key family run spot with fantastic food and good prices. They do everything by hand, so dont be surprised if its a little bit of a wait for take-out, but boy is it worth it. Their papusas are absolutely out of this world. Its a great place to sit and eat as well - very laid back atmosphere. A lot of people have mentioned that the employees are rude - I think this is probably because most people are used to being able to treat restaurant workers like garbage, and these are not the type of people that put up with that sort of nonsense. Theyve been great to me every time, and will always chat my daughter and I up when were waiting for our order. Hands down my favorite restaurants in the area. I love to take my friends here when they come to visit from home.

Its a laid back place to eat. I have tried just about every plate of food in this stablisment. Pupusas are great any way you order them. But the ones with jalapeños are the best in my opinion. Super burrito de chicken azado with refried beans is one of my favorites if Im in a hurry. BUT The Mar y tierra is a must if you are super hungry. Their pollo azado dinner plate, chalateco, guanaco and the chicken tamales Is also a must try meal. There is one thing you will wait for yor meal b u t then again, its a fresh cook meal made in front of you just like the one you get at home. And good food requires time in the grill. And that is what you get at the his little hole in the wall. Happy eating. PS. They have breakfast all day long.

Been going to this place for 20 years. The Carnitas taco is my go to order, which I call-in 15 minutes ahead while on the freeway heading home from SF. I buy 10 at a time and freeze most of them, and then microwave for 2 minutes each, while frozen, when ready to eat, sometimes after being in the freezer for a couple of months. Never got sick from doing this method. Also great with fried eggs and steamed tortillas for morning breakfast. The cooks who prepare to Carnitas add quite a bit of fresh squeezed lime juice as they chop-up the cooked meat. This chopped meat is then grilled on the old school flat iron grill when preparing each order. The quesadilla is also very good.

really good food but could have been four if they had salsa verde like every Mexican spot Ive been to and yes the cashier that took my order was definitely rude. Dont expect top notch customer service. I will say this was by far the rudest cashier that Ive encountered at any Mexican restaurant. Ive worked in customer service and I can tell you servicing the customer was not their top priority.

THE PUPUSAS ARE VERY GOOD. BEST IV HAD. HOWEVER, I USUALLY TAKE IT TO-GO BECAUSE I DONT LIKE SITTING THERE AND EATTING. THE SERVERS ARE A LITTLE RUDE , AND YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING!!! , THE CHIPS AND SALSA (even tho most resturants in the world give them for free when you dine-in) THE SOUR CREAM, THE GUAC, EVERYTHING!! THEY DONT EVEN PUT IT ON THE PLATE WHEN YOU ORDER A QUESADILLA. WTF!!!

This beautiful restorante just fought its biggest battle and won! The recent eviction notice was dropped and this wonderful place for Italian food goes on! My family and I went there recently to celebrate my birthday, and the four of us loved our food. We said to the owner that we came there because we heard they were closing, and...

Expensive but its the only shrimp burrito my wife likes. Personally, I prefer La fleur de Jalisco, a taco truck on San Pablo, just after Andrade Ave. Which is across the street from Big O tires and just south of BurgerKing. I think Jalisco pastor and carnitas super burritos are the best and their price is better too.

The place where I learned about, and fell in love with, the papusa. The standards of Salvadorian food for me, but always reliable to cure that burrito or taco fix as well. But please, always always, even as a side, get a papusa. You will not regret it.

Every time I drive past the San Pablo exit on the I-80, its hard to resist landing at this restaurant. My favorite taqueria for yummy grilled chicken burritos and quesadilla, soft heavenly tamales, and hit-it-just-right nachos!
