Deux semaines dans cet hôtel(dans le complexe de la rue den face carriage house )Ménage nickel. Literie vraiment confortable. Chambre coquette et calme. Seul problème , cest à côté dune rame de train qui lui est très bruyant(quelques passages dans la journée) le restaurant bar dans le complexe principal nest pas mauvais mais il y a mieux dans les environs je trouve. Ambiance e du bar typique et très agréable. Quel plaisir de prendre un bourbon attablé au comptoir ;). Parking privé découvert à code gratuit. Wifi gratuit.

brought my folks out to lunch their, pretty empty but staff decided to place us in far back, Im assuming their was food group function coming up, but still not pleased since the separate front area was available. Had my usual linguine and clams (small, mostly shell as usual) Folks werent impressed with the shrimp special. Your obviously paying more for the historic quaint scenery, of which we saw the back end. Front seating area - spacious nice tables Back seating area - like sitting at the pew of a dark old wood smelling church

For many reasons Im a fan. First, it has an old world charm that totally fits Point Richmond. This place is the town in a way. Second, the food is pretty good! It also follows that old world (I guess you could call it traditional American) theme. Its a place when you walk in, youre greeted warmly. Being at Disneyland earlier in the week, it was like I was at a restaurant in Frontierland next to the Haunted Mansion...

Catfish and tartar sauce is awesome! Had to wait a while since the restaurant is small and I only saw 9 tables. But it was worth it. My husband got pork chops. We also got Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, greens, string beans. It was all delicious and a great place to eat while visiting Richmond.

Jasmine tea arrived at our table along with the picture-filled "check off your order" paper menu. Dishes were all brought together, steaming hot and fresh. The dumplings were all very plump, and the crispy crusted soft tofu came with a delicious sauce. My only disappointment was the average Bao.
