Will never eat here again. Waited more than 5 minutes to be acknowledged after walking in the door. Waited 10 minutes for my server to come to the table. There was a total of 5 other tables occupied. Not exactly very busy. She asked if I was ready to order or if I wanted something to drink. My response was "Yes, Im ready to order, but can I get a water with extra lemon, please? And can..." And she walked away. 10 minutes later she brought water, and then walked away again. I had to ask for extra lemon, was finally able to order, and she walked away before I even finished ordering. I watched the same server give attitude to another patron because he asked for onion rings instead of mashed potatoes. He ended up having to pay for a side of onion rings, and got them about 15 minutes after he got the rest of his food. When MY food showed up, the toppings (grilled onions and peppers) were minimal. A teaspoon at best. The fries were old and soggy. I didnt see the server back at my table until I placed my plate to the side. Then she brought my check (another 10 minutes later) and I was able to leave, finally. Horrible service, horrible food. I would rather walk 10 miles than eat here again.

You would think, that as long as this chain has been around, Ihop would know the difference between customer service and really great customer care! I have eaten at this same location three separate times over the past two months. Each time I do, the food either, comes to the table cold, undercooked, or it takes forever! The food doesnt even taste that great, but I guess its okay for as convenient as it is at the moment. The staff are good folks who always want to offer help in order to rectify the problem, but the "problem " seems to be one that they have dealt with on such a regular basis, that its an expected occur ancestors. This should not be the norm, but the exception! Good luck!

The food was great! Hubby had the French Toast, and we asked our server if there was any sugar free syrup, and she said Yes! I had a cheeseburger and a salad. Both were exceptionally delicious! The only bad thing was that the upholstered bench seats were in need of re-upholstering...I sank down and could feel the boards beneath. Hubby said same on his side. Of course we were seated at the first table to the left of the door, so Im sure this table gets used a lot... Server was sweet and efficient, as was the lady at the register. We will return...(but we will sit at a different table!)

Being seated didnt take that much time, I belive the manager was the one that seated us and was very poliate and curtious to where we wantes to seat. After that my mother and I had to wait 25 minutes for someone to take my order. The waiters had lack of communication when trying to catch there attention, two of them just were just standing by the entrance talking - bad experience overall. Even after when we got out food the waiters had a sour look on his face, as if he didnt wanna be there. 5 minutes didnt even pass and we already receiveed our check. Not coming back anytime soon.

I have been to several IHOPs many many times. IHOP is a solid good restaurant. Usually I go for breakfast, however, Ive also enjoyed their lunches and dinners. You gotta compare IHOP to Dennys. OK. They are the same. (gotta wonder why one chain doesnt buy-out the other) By just one click, I prefer IHOP to Dennys. An IHOP breakfast is a massive amount to eat--youre going to leave FULL. I will give a great review to the service at this IHOP store (Redwood City CA); quick, friendly and efficient. I do recommend IHOP and will often return in the future.

I have been wanting to eat at IHOP late night for so long. But this is the worst place anyone could ever try to eat at. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. It says Redwood City locations and other locations are open 24 hours, but they lie big time! I even called before hand to make sure the second time. But like always when we drove all that long we found out they had been closed. If there was any way I could say this to the owners to their face Id be more than willing to buy for now: they really suck.

I ate two breakfasts and one dinner here in three days. The tilapia dinner was GREAT. the spinach was fresh. The only complaint was our salads came right with the meals. The breakfasts were really good. Waffles were crisp and warm. The sweet cream crepes were Devine. Service in the mornings was quick, efficient and friendly. Dinner...not so good but I only saw one waitress for one whole section. There was no other support person to check on customers. Thanks

Excelente servicio!! El mesero que nos atendió Javier T muy eficiente y atento , y el servicio en general excelente, a pesar que el domingo es un día muy ocupado, los trabajadores limpian y acondicionan rápido las mesas!!

The IHOP in Belmont is nicer, with more staff, but I think the food is better here. The wait staff is nice, theres just a small, crowded, confusing front area where people are milling about trying to pay or be seated. There never seems to be anyone there when I come in, and sometimes I have to wait for someone to take my money so I can leave. Dont be in a hurry, because the front area staff wont be.

I would give zero stars if I could. First night I went here I had a tweaker for a waiter. Then told after ordering that they could not split the check. Second night I went here they told us that we could do seat checks, but when dumb waitress came she said they didnt have enough people working to do a seat check. Wound up walking out.

Service is friendly, sometimes it takes a little longer to get your food but not worst than any other similar restaurant. We come hear often because its a family friendly restaurant and we have two little ones who are not always the best behaved and we always get great service from staff in accomodating our rowdy kids.

Went on a Saturday morning, very busy with a line out of the door. However, I got seated, and even though the staff were busily rushing around, they were pleasant, helpful, and everything came out great.

Not a good IHOP, service is not good. They would not do split checks so they handed me busted calculator and told me to figure out what I owe from the itemized reciept. Will never go again.
