Islands is a breathe of fresh air from other burger restaurants. One thing you cant ignore, is the interior. Its a bit tacky, but its enjoyable and I love it. The atmosphere is stereotypical Hawaiian, parrots, palm frawns, thatched patios, and tikis but again, its enjoyable, fun and different. Surf music is played and surf videos are shown on tv. The main thing though is the food! They have a variety of burgers, sandwiches, and salads. The burgers are great and cooked to your liking. The fries used to be an option, but now come standard with the burger. The fries by themself though taste a little flavorless and dry, but with the addition of chili and cheese, it fixes that. The shakes are flavorful and taste heavenly and never disappoint. So far, service there is enjoyable have not encountered a rude waiter or waiteress. Ive been going to Islands for many years to different locations and love it. No matter which location I go to, I enjoy it and have fond memories because of it.

Stopped in foothill Islands 2-7-15..At about one pm...Seated promptly.Server was attentive and competent.....We both ordered burgers..Wed been on the road for six hours and were famished...Not new to the Islands restaurant chain but first time at this location...To put it mildy,it was probably the worst hamburger wed ordered in some time...Bland,patty was undersized and void of taste...Wife is a bit picky but I rarely complain....But guys at eleven dollars a burger,Wed have done better going to carls jr....Ok rant over...Hoping we just caught resteraunt on a bad day...Signed still Hungry

We found this place by accident while staying in Ontario, and decided to try it out because it looked like such a fun place. Best decision EVER!!! From the moment we walked in we were treated like family. The staff were super friendly, attentive to our needs and very personable! Ive never had better service from any restaurant. The ambiance of the place was great fun as well. And the food was fantastic!!! Special thanks to our waitstaff team: Angelina, Bobby & Aaron.

We have always loved coming here. It is fun to watch the surfing channel and the extreme sports on the big screens. I love the atmosphere. It is a beach theme. The restaurant is large enough that there never really seems to be a wait any time you go. There is also a large bar, with all the sports you can watch in the middle for all of you that need that special beverage with your meal. Food is excellent. They will customize anything.

Get steakhouse food for coffee house price! My wife and I have, so far, been very happy with the value we get from our Flemings visits. First the basics; we have eaten at multiple locations both in the main restaurant and bar area. We love the ambiance at all of the Flemings we have been to so far.

The service was nice but the unlimited fries were WEAK! We were served the bottom of the bin (the sorry, short left overs) fries. When we asked for more fries, the second batch was like warm. Although the server was busy, she was attentive, but the cooks/ chefs disappointed.

This is the second Islands Restaurant Ive been to. And theyre alright. I would expect more of an exotic menu but its basically burgers and Mexican food. Adding pineapple to a burger doesnt really make it Island food to me. The food is OK, nothing that is spectacular.

My husband and i stopped here for dinner because it was the half way point between San Diego and Lancaster. We had a reservation but didnt seem to need it. The food was great and the service was fabulous. We shared a steak dinner and ordered extra sides.

Great tasting food but expect a wait I work very close to this location and I tend to barely make it back to work if I go here on my lunch break but the food is great tasting so its worth the wait
