I always passed by this place after jogging around the corner, but this time I figured Id try it. I ordered the short rib and katsu combo to go. The chicken katsu was on point. It was nice and crispy despite a 15 min drive home, because they took the time to cut holes in the container. But the thing that really sold me on this place was the mac salad. Yeah it maybe simple, but this is the first time in years that Ive had a mac salad that brought me back to the Big Island (I know thats not where Honolulu is). Of all the "Hawaiian" food places Ive tried since being transplanted, this mac salad, as simple or plain as some may think it is, hits the spot. Grinds.

I got the sea food mix and the mahi mahi had no flavor I did not even enjoy it and that was not the first time that happen. A few months back I got sick ordering the same plate and I will not be coming to this place ever again.. ps the chicken its good but will not recomend this place to anyone for mahi mahi

Lacks flavor. The short ribs we got looks like its been cooked the second time around... Must have been an order during lunch that got cancelled and served again. The teriyaki sauce taste like its stale. Dont want to get sick ...dumped all our orders and left. 2016 10/12.

Hawaiian is back!!! I love the food and great customer service, the rice was nice and fluffy, fresh chicken, fresh beef, fresh shrimp, everything is delicious. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, especially families that want to eat healthier and on a budget.

Love this place, it is my go to. Prices are reasonable, food is great and made to order, buy one get one free thai teas. However, the great customer service is what keeps me coming back. Spicy chicken is my favorite.

Ordered take out took too long food was not as gud as it looks ... plus itvwas very expensive. Compared to wabba grill which is better + cheaper
