Ive had a few other loco mocos before, I dont really remember them, I remember really enjoying the one from l&l though. Dont order the loco moco here. The patty is similar to a burger you would purchase at a little league baseball game from the snack bar, probably purchased frozen at stater brothers. The gravy is way too salty. The best part of the meal was the macaroni salad. The loco moco is edible, but a terrible choice considering the other options here. Try the katsu or the bbq instead. UPDATE This time I ate the BBQ chicken mini meal, the chicken was juicy, full of flavor, and there was little to no fat. Im not a big eater, I get full off of 2 slices of pizza, but the mini meal was more than I needed. Im switching my rating of the food to very good, because I order bbq chicken often and this is definitely a good place for BBQ chicken.

I was came in and wasnt even sure if the place was still opened or not because the workers were already mopping the floors. As I waited in line, i saw a mosquito zoom by and I am immediately turned off by the restaurant. However, I continued to order a loco moco here and it was very bland. The meat tasted something I would find in a microwaveable tv dinner and the sauce was a questionable color. Prices were average .. About $6-8? I was annoyed that they charge $0.25 for sauce and didnt really think it was worth it. I would not come back here. I would much rather go to O Udon a couple stores down.. So much better quality food! Dont come here unless you want to eat garbage.. Jk that was a little over the top, but seriously its not good here haha

I would be considered a regular by now, since I go here once a week and Im on first name terms with Billy, the guy that seems to run the place. The food here is generously served at a decent price. Its not the finest cuts of chicken or whatever, but its still good food that tastes great and leaves me satisfied. I recommend calling your order in ahead. Whenever a friend comes to visit me for lunch I head over to Maui Hawaiian and they seem to be happy so I would say they are good - not great - overall.

Ive eaten here several times and have always enjoyed it. I was born and raised in Hawaii so I grew up with some great plate lunches and the food here has always satisfied my cravings but not today....The macaroni salad looked old and dried out, the fried mahi mahi was over cooked, mushy and tasteless and the same can be said for the shrimp. Only the BBQ chicken and rice were edible. SO DISAPPOINTED.

This place is BOMB! I eat here once a week at least. The spam-musubi, bbq chicken, chicken katsu, and even orange chicken (more like pineapple chicken) are all VERY good. HUUUGE portions too, Im a big eater (I eat 2 3x3s at In N Out to get full) and I still get full off just the chicken, not including the great tasting macaroni salad and rice. You wont regret coming here.

I got sick to my stomach after eating here. Not sure if it was the chicken or the beef but something really messed me up. The food was ok, the tables were kind of sticky and not very clean. I walked away satisfied, taking a cue from my body, this place is not cooking their food right. Wont eat here again.

LOVE this place! Everything is well priced and ready very quickly. Weve had the Katsu chicken which is breaded, its really good especially with the sauce. But my favorite is the Hawaiian BBQ chicken. I dont know what they marinate the chicken in, but its so moist and tasty. Highly recommended.

Im really surprised this place is still open. Saw this place for awhile and finally decided to try it out. What was I thinking? Meat is dry, and marinade for beef is way WAY too salty! Ive had better "Hawaiian" food in Tijuana. Trust me when I say that I will NEVER be going back here.

Want to get fat on meat, macaroni salad, and rice for a cheap budget? This is it! Hawaiian food with large portions that will fill your stomache and calories. Fast orders and fast service, your hungry stomache will be satisfied, until the next time you want to pig out.

Hawaiian food, Large quantity of meat with bed of rice and gravy If you been to this place, do try kids portion as you wont be able to finish normal meal in 1 sitting or try half n half menu for little variety

Pretty good hawaiian food for a mainland restaurant. Their menu includes lau lau which a lot of Hawaiian food chains lack. The seasonings in general were decent as well.

Delicious Hawaiian bbq for a good price. Servings are very big. Can easily be split and food is tasty. Especially the macaroni salad.
