WRONG NUMBER. GOOGLE DID NOT PUT THE CORRECT NUMBER AND ITS SPELLED NEW YORK PIZZA NOT NEY YORK PIZZA. Anyways this place has been under new ownership since september. Being a new yorker i was curious of what they would have but after learning these guys are from new york and are sicilian i knew i would be in great hands...i got a large cheese for eat in...first bite i took i was amazed! Coming from new York i felt as if i was sitting back in new york having a slice with some garlic powder. I love this pizza joint i am never going any place else in northern california only new York pizza on clayton rd. The owner john jr is always there and will take care of you with the best customer service and in the back is john senior that does all the magic cooking!

I buy a pizza several times a month from Amicis but discovered NY pizza last month and found it fantastic! Last week when I called a man answered the phone and told me "our oven isnt working, please call back in 15 minutes." 15 minutes later, when I called back, the manager told me that he was there the whole time standing by the phone and I must have called somewhere else, etc. I found it irritating that the manager couldnt just acknowledge the mistake and either apologize or try to go the extra mile by offering free deliver, etc. Instead, he just denied it and laughed it off. It sounds petty but it just boils down to plain, old-fashioned customer service!

Watch out when you use a debit or credit card. My bill was $29.22. I gave the driver a cash tip of $5 bucks and put a zero on the tip line of the receipt. I checked my bank statement the next day and they charged me $35.06 I went back to get it straightend out and the owner would not give me the difference back in cash or crediting my bank card. He then accused me of wanting to steal his money when I asked him to refund back the money that was not authorized. He is not from this country (foreign) so dont expect him to understand how to properly run a business. He as rude on the phone. THeir pizza is pretty crappy to. BAD BAD PIZZA AND SERVICE>

Outstanding experience. If you want great beef ribs, thin crust pizza, hot sandwiches or salads this is the place. The people are friendly and they offer reasonable discounts. I have been ordering delivery from this business for a couple of years and am never disappointed with their service and food quality. They have a few tables for in house eating, but I suspect they do a thriving delivery service since there phone and back cooking area is humming with phone calls and food orders.

This place cant be beat, a whole NY slice with a drink for under $5. How can you do better than that? The owner and workers there are awesome too, honest, hardworking people that are fun to interact with. Sam, the owner, and funny and funny looking, and suuuper cool. Hell hook you up if you go enough times. All in all, it is sweet and you should go. One of the best places to grab some awesome pasta, salad, ribs and pizza in the bay, and its right here in Pleasanton!

New York style pizza in Pleasanton. The pizza itself was a bit above average, although I was not happy that the cut it up into "bite size" squares instead of serving it properly as slices. Prices were also to high. If you want authentic New York pizza this place is OK, but if youre willing to deal with thicker crust and "sloppy" toppings, you can pick up a similar pizza at Costco for a fraction of the price.

Ive been eating here weekly for nearly a year. I cant stop. I think Im addicted. Please help me. Seriously though, hands down the greatest new york pizza establishment Ive ever had the plasure of eating at (in pleasanton of all places!). The pizza, the ribs, the wings, the endless array of appetizers, and the chill dudes that work there; too good. eat new york pizza and prosper.

THIS PIZZA IS FAIR TO GOOD. IT IS BY NO MEANS THE BEST IN THE BAY AREA. HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE CHEESE BOARD, CUGINI, GASPARES OR LO COCO?! ANYWAY, THE FOOD IS GREAT CONSIDERING MOST PIZZA AND ESPECIALLY DELIVERY PIZZA IS NOT VERY GOOD. I LOVE PIZZA MORE THAN THE AVERAGE PERSON, BUT MOST PIZZA IS BELOW AVERAGE QUALITY AND FLAVOR. SO NEW YORK PIZZA IS PRETTY GOOD BY COMPARISON.

This sends one to a business with the same name but different menu and policy I was delivered a pizza by the same name with the wrong ingredients. Their menu is exactly identical with the exception of the ingredients on the "Greek Pizza" I cannot eat peppercinnis they make me ill the other website says pepperoni in the same place.

Stop drop and eat! the best NY pizza in the east bay. Service is friendly. I same here for the past 10 years no matter how long my absence they still remember me and my favorite slice! This family owned place is about customers not just good pizza! try it one time I double dare you. you will love it!

Being a New Yorker, I was very skeptical, but I am thoroughly satisfied with this place. The pizza was excellent. Enough that Id go out of my way to give it a good rating. Their pool table isnt in perfect shape, but it works fine and they didnt charge to play. The price was right as well.

Try the ribs, they are extra yummy. 6 ribs were more than I could eat. I had a piece of pizza for lunch one day and it was a monster piece of pizza with toppings of your choice. Free soda to boot. My wife and I will go back again and again.

Food was okay, staff seemed kind of annoyed, but that might have been because of time and day. The pizza was tasty, but on the pricier side of the spectrum.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Place was empty, tables were dirty. Pizza was not as good as NY Pizza on Main St. but not bad.

4.5 stars. not much atmosphere, just great thin crust pizza and veggie sandwich. Little hard to find so be persistent.
