Wood Grill Buffet is better than Hometown Buffet..... El Fin...... Just kidding....... Today, we celebrated a family birthday (Free birthday dinner w/paying adult coupon) here. Having been here once before, I knew what to expect. For the uninitiated- Diners are offered their choice of complimentary sweet potato or baked potato. Im assuming this is to fill people up so they dont eat too much. Beverages are extra, so expect to pay up if you dont want agua. Every section has more choices & more quality selections than Hometown Buffet. Items in the chilled section include grape tomatoes w/feta cheese, tuna/chicken/potato/macaroni salad & a nice salad bar. Items in the hot section include sirloin steak, roast beef, fried chicken livers, rolls & fried shrimp. The dessert section has all the essentials - pies, cakes, cookies, cornbread, cobblers & soft serve w/ avaliable toppings. I make it my mission to make most of my meal at a buffet salad & fruit/veggies. The rest is meat, with little to no grains. Gotta stay on my diet, baby! The restaurant has been clean both times I have dined there, even though there can be occasions where the place is packed. The floors & booths are wood, so you may want to sit on a jacket because your butt might get sore (No jokes please). Wood Grill Buffet is a little more expensive than Hometown, but I believe its worth the extra cost. Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOM

My dota took me there. Its our habit to invite each another to any place u are homely treated, hence this visitation was important to my dota. We didnt know their closing time. We got there about 15 mins before closing, but there doors were still open. We were told that we can go in, but we have to place all we want to eat on the plates on our table becoz they have started to remove the food out already. I was like why keeping the doors open then? I told my dota that we can come back on the other day. My dota had sensed that I am already giving a restraunt a D+ so she insisted that we go in. I am glad to say that at the end, the restraunt got an A from me which pleased my dota. We got the best service. I wont detailed what made it to be the best. Just visit them and experience it yourself. Its always good to do your best for people. KEEP IT UP! I am coming back this week with my friends.see you soon.

I am very upset, yesterday 6-9-16 I took my sister in law to celebrate her graduation. We arrived at 8:45pm they took our money no problem. When we sat down and got our drinks the bust boy told us that we only had 15 minutes to eat because they were closing at 9pm . No manager came to inform us of this they didnt offer to give us our money back we wanted to leave but then someone came and said they were closing at 10pm so we had enough time to eat. But at 9:25 they told us they were going to close. I felt outraged because we had just started eating because the food was being prepared when we arrived!... I felt robbed! The manager was rude and didnt let me explain the situation, she was completely unprofessional I dont understand how shes a manager at all!... Do not go to this location! They are rude! As for the food? It was cold and I did not get the chance to try anything fresh

Sedalia here frm Bell Gardens, Ca. Im so glad I was introduced to this wonderful restaurant, the food is Delicious ! They offer a variety for everyones taste buds , pot roast, fish, chicken, cooked 3 different ways , orange chicken&rice , hot dogs, hamburgers&fries ribs, steaks, greens, yams, broccoli, fresh veggies, salads, desserts, pizza, soups much more , the service is great , never encounted any problems , if I could I would eat here 3 times a week and never get tired of the food , I love the lemon pie I eat at least 3 everytime , my family love an dinner nite out here .Friday 7/19/13 taking my mother in law here for her birthday which was on 7/17/13 I know shes gonna love it , thanks so much just wish it was closer to my house

some of the stuff is mildly ok. some of the stuff is pretty bad. they have a lot of mediocre choices. the chain at the front to prevent people from walking in is kinda disturbing and shows the clientele they serve too or the kinda folks that frequent this place. the staff is super nice tho. not much to draw me back. feel like hometown buffet is pretty much above or on par with this place. the bbq and meat selection isnt too bad. also the salad selection isnt so bad either. this review is probably bias as i generally dont expect much from buffet style places in the middle of the industrial suburbs.

This place is the best! They have over about 180 items. Everything tastes good and fresh. Im totally going back! My favorite is the breakfast on Sunday, they have hash browns, eggs, bacon, sausage, quesadillas, and etc.... Also on Sunday the chefs can make you a fresh and delicious omelet and egg and bacon sandwich. On the rest of the week they have even MORE delicious food. Dont even get me started on their desert items. They have many different cakes and cookies, etc... They also have a chocolate fountain. Beyond worth it. Give it a try!

Wow what is selection from ribs to shrimp and everything in between I liked it not as big ass okay Corral or HomeTown Buffet which was a good thing the food all looks freshly cooked and well prepared two adults and two drinks around 38 bucks with a small tip you serve yourself pay the counter but the waiters do bring your drinks show you to your seats and. Dishes so I assume that it was appropriate but not the normal 20% I would definitely recommend this place all you can eat and a large fry

My family came all the way from the bay to visit los angeles and I seen this place online and it sounded good but it wasnt what I expected it to be! The food looked old the whole time I was there they nevered replaced any food the desert was nasty hard not fresh it was just a horrible experience I didnt even listen to the reviews I wanted to try it for my self but I regret it what a waste of 40 bucks golden corral is by far the best buffet hands down.....

Avoid this place The workers are fine: polite, attentive. But if you dont give the food a pass, you will pass it one way or another. The fried okra was rancid; cocktail sauce was seriously lacking horseradish, spice, and tasted really old. Lots of meats done cheaply. Veggies not cooked well enough. Yeast rolls were tough! (how do you do that?!). Desserts not good quality. This may be indicative of how far Western Sizzlin brand has fallen.

The ABSOLUTE WORST experience Ive ever had!! The food was horrible. The taco meat looked unnatural and was completely drowned in grease!! My son had some and also tried some other items then spent the next 20 minutes in the bathroom puking his guts out!! Then I complained they said they only can give back half the refund! Smh who does that!!??? I tried to find the corporate number but the website didnt work and its not online smh.
