This was a family owned restaurant for at least 30 years. The entire family ran it but the kids didnt want to run it when they grew up, understandably. Since the new ownership its been umm... not great. The style of food was outdated but I liked it anyway... because it was real down-home American style Chinese food. Now its just bad. Last few times the chicken was overcooked + taste was not great. I got out of the habit of going there and probably wont go back.

From the street, it looks like a hole-in-the-wall, but once you get inside, its pleasant, warm, and the wait staff is helpful and friendly. I have enjoyed every meal I have had there. I had a hard time convincing my husband to go - he was pretty doubtful that it would be high quality, but he has changed his tune. Try it! Decor is attractive with lots of interesting items on walls, place is clean and comfortable, and the food is high-quality and fresh.

I took my fiance there for his first time a few weeks ago, and he loved it!!!! The service was great and the food was amazing, we actually had way to much, but brought it home with us. And it seemed like everyone that walked in they knew the customers names and what they wanted before they even ordered. That to me is means a good place. I think everyone should stop by and try it!!!!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dishes tasted great, but the chicken was tough, and the beef was barely edible, mostly grizzle. I might try them again, hoping that I just got a bad night, but wouldnt expect that to happen for both chicken and beef at the same time. Prices are good, but only if the meat quality is tolerable, and it wasnt.

Very fresh and tasty Chinese food, the Shrimp Basil is the best and the egg rolls are good despite another review, I never get the overly full feeling you usually get from heavy Chinese food. I met Wendy, the second generation owner and she was very friendly and inviting. My new favorite Chinese food place.

Terrible. The worst Chinese food we have ever had. Vegetarian egg rolls are a joke. Just stuffed with nothing but lettuce and parts of egg. No flavor at all and hardly vegetarian with egg in it. The other two dishes were so bad we could not eat them. Upsetting.
