More and more Pasadena City College students want to go to have meals , but some cafes are far from school and some aren’t good enough . We’ve found a café which is located next to Pasadena City College , and it’s called Novel Café . The Novel Café is a wonderful restaurant because of its reasonable price , good service and tasty food . The reasonable price makes Novel Café a good choice . At Novel Café you can have different kinds of coffees and their prices are fair. For example , you can enjoy an iced coffee for $2.75 , iced cappuccino for $3.75 and iced latte for $3.75.You can also order a fresh orange juice for $5.00 or $3.50 for the small one. The price of food is good too. You can order a chicken pasta for $9.95 , fish-n-chips for $7.00 and shrimp angel hair for $9.95.Prices are pretty reasonable and fair so everyone can enjoy the good meals and drinks. Novel Café also provides a good service for its customers. They have proper amount of waiters and waitresses , and each table has its own waiter/waitress and you’ll be served right away. They also treat customers in a very friendly way. The positive attitude of staff also makes you feel relax . All in all having friendly staff and caring for customer’s convenience is what makes Novel Café on of the good server restaurants . Not only are the price reasonable, but also the food is delicious. Take for example what we ordered. We ordered shrimp with angel hair, chicken pasta and fish chips. The shrimp with angel hair use noodle, shrimp and broccoli with ketchup to make. I think first, cook boil the noodles meanwhile they fried other material. When it done, cook mix those and noodle together and put cheese above it. It tastes flavorful. Chicken pasta uses Italian pasta, broccoli, chicken breast and carrot with sauce and sugar. It tastes a little sweet and sour. In the Novel Cafe, they use sweet potato instead regular potato, which is rare treat. The French fries were crispy and fresh. They have fried fish. The outside is crispy and inside is soft, but not raw. All in all, I think people can enjoy the delicious food in there. In conclusion reasonable price , good service and tasty food are the points that we found to describe the Novel Café a relaxing place where you can have meals and enjoy your time. -Mina, Denis, Ziming

Order food from Eat24 at this location, and gotta say I hated it. The "Build your own burger" gave many options, unfortunately it didnt satisfy the quality I was looking for. My burger was tasteless, the meat was over cooked becoming a more "floppy" patty rather than an actual juicy patty. I believe they tried to cover it up, so they put more sauce on it then it should have been, the avocados werent ripe, thick and chewy and the pineapples were sour and hard. Absolutely disgusting, I literally took four bites and threw the hamburger away. There fries arent bad but theres something with the garlic fries that makes them put extra salt on it. Its salty enough with there garlic herbs, but why do you need that extra salt taste. Overall, I think you should go to this place for there sandwich and lunch menus, but if you want a decent burger with decent side order and not a burger that looks like an Eiffel tower with stiff and chew parts in it, go some where else than here.

Tasty sushi at a fair (for Pasadena) price. I ordered a bunch of nigiri and they were pretty, didnt fall apart when you pick it up, and boasted fresh fish. Salmon and ika were the best. I also ordered a side of karaage and unfortunately its not done with potato starch like it should be. Half the time, it just feels like you are eating lemon chicken without the sauce. So avoid that

As I walked in with some buddies of mine, one kept yelling "Bacon, Bacon, I want Bacon" as we sat down ready to order the plate of Bacon arrived to our table. I have to say, it was great food, and great service. The omelet I had was delicious, but what I liked the most was the Hashbrown! Perfectly brown toasted, and greatly done.

They changed their menu for dinner. After 4pm no longer can breakfast items be ordered. I went wanting one of their omelets. Menu now is very limited. The food was slow in coming. The womens bathroom needed cleaning. Overall, disappointing. I doubt if I will go back.

It was a friendly experience. I was completely new there, but they helped me pick out a salad and it was a good sized portion. It is a good place to hangout with the free wifi and all. I thoight it over all good quality, but a bit on the pricey side.

We enjoyed a hearty breakfast with scrambled eggs, two strips of bacon and waffle. The side order of hash browns were perfectly cooked to our liking- extra crispy. The cafe lattes were smooth and extra hot. The waitress was friendly and efficient.

Such a great local spot for coffee and sandwiches! I ordered the turkey sandwich and highly recommend it. My friend got the tuna sandwich and loved it too. Two thumbs up!
