I used to eat here quite often, but havent been in a while. This restaurant is perfect for down-to-Earth people. From decor to food, The Porter Junction Cafe is perfect for the hippie at heart. They have a wide variety of amazing Vegan and vegetarian dishes. I usually come here for lunch on my way to the farmers market. Ill get a nice glass of iced tea. The tea-of-the-day varies everyday (you dont say!), but the most common flavors are mint or hibiscus (theyre both really good). The hummus and build-your-own burrito are my go-to items. Everything always tastes fresh and wonderful!

This place is an oasis in the middle of an urban industrial jungle. Youll get the best service and warm smiles from the staff there. Everything is made and served up with love. Whenever I am in the downtown LA area, I always at least try to swing by and grab a quick bite or coffee. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and youll forget the busy and loud industrial zone you are in. Love the owners and staff there. Its completely run by a small and loving family. The food is made fresh by the order, and they really treat every customer like family. Love this place!

Great service! The staff here went out of their way just to make sure that or drinks were just right. The lady asked me if the porters paradise was good (it was awesome! ) and the guy cleaning up around us (and working the cashier) asked us if the iced cappuccino was just right (it was!). A discovered this place while going to the LAvsWAR art event and are so glad we did. The place is authentically urban (without trying)while being a comfortable place to chill.

First time at this cozy local stop by where I work, Ive passed by this place numerous times and well Ill stop some day.......but todays the day and please let me tell you that it was worth the wait. ...I had a bit of everything the egg sandwich, grilled chicken and peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a regular joe.......and it felt like moms home cooking super WOW......highly recommended in top of this Great, truly great customer service.

One of L.A.s Gems. I love this place. The best sandwiches in town. Clean, friendly family owned and operated. I didnt think egg salad was worth talking about. It is. A Chipolte Wrap Egg Salad Sandwich, Classic Potato Salad and Iced Coffee. Cant beat it. Made fresh while you wait. I support local independent restaurants. Try this one. You will agree.

all about the philly cheese steak! it was good as is, but i am not really into baguette bread so i actually requested it on sourdough the second time i ordered it, and loved it even more. side note: if you get a side of fruit, you will be happy to know its not all melons like some places serve you!
