Its a little confusing since I tried the place for the first time in commemoration of Pi Day, although everyday is a Math day for me since thats what I majored in. Anyway, when I arrived, there was a stand/podium with drink menus and no host. So I did as any fellow citizen did and followed the crowd. You order at the cash register. I ordered the pesto chicken pizza, the baked mac, and the seasonal pomegranate lemonade. It was delicious! The pizza is 10 inches, which is a good size. Service was great and the staff was very happy and look like they get along really well with each other. I liked that :)

Positives: The lemonade and Hibiscus iced tea were amazing! Negatives: The toppings are sparse, especially when it comes to meat. The Grilled Steak Salad had 2 small peices of steak in it. The Chicken and Mushroom Cavatappi was a little better with 4 chunks of chicken. However I have never had a "garlic cream" be so bland. I dont think there was any garlic in the dish at all. The Pitfire Sausage Pizza came out burnt. On top of that, all 3 entrées came out at different times. The salad first, the pasta about 15 minutes later, and the pizza finally made it to the table 20 minutes after the pasta.

We have a 5 year old and 10 month old triplets, so going out can be really tough or when the restaurant has a great outdoor setting and great staff who are on it, eating out can be a good experience. Pitfire Pizzas team is ON IT. They did a great job of anticipating needs and understanding that we asked for things like the check and boxes at the beginning of the meal, and accommodating quickly. We will be back. And the good was great.

The service was what was the most outstanding. The guy who took our order, Link, was very friendly and readily gave us a recommendation of what beer to try. Our waitress, Aubs, was exceedingly patient with our rather large group and quickly took and returned with our orders! The food was above average 8/10 and the beers were semi exotic and tasty. Warm atmosphere and friendly service made this place a must return for us.

I usually come by during lunch and it never seems super busy. Manager is friendly. Good beer selection. Pizza is delish and the chicken meatballs are amazing. If youre looking for greens they have good broccoli & they are not stingy with the portion size. I crave the spaghetti & meatballs about 3 times per week. They serve real Parmesan cheese too. Order ahead if youre in a hurry.

A great place to go when the kids want pizza and you dont. Its a casual sit-down restaurant where you order at a counter and then they bring the food to you. The pizzas are great but they also offer tasty pastas and fresh salads. They also have a bar if thats your thing and have great lemonades with original and a seasonal variety.

Great atmosphere, family friendly, and amazing pizza. John, our server, gave great recommendations and service. Would go back again. The only funky part of the meal were the "chicken meatballs" in the spaghetti. It was like eating a tuna ball, just awful. Otherwise, great restaurant overall!

Awesome little pizza place. The craft beer selection is pretty good. The pies are artisan style but you can still pick something good. The sidedeck area is dog friendly and a great locale for a beer and a slice of pizza.

Great place to come with kids or without. My personal choice are the pasta dishes (pizzas look pretty common). Clay is provided for the kids while waiting. Even adults would enjoy some clay modeling :-)

Yay pit fire. So glad to have finally gone here. This was my second meal out her in California. They used to have a ping pong table. Greatest location ever. Bestest pizza place to go to in Pasadena.

My favorite pizza place in Los Angeles. They have very good ingredients and they have seasonal original pizzas (like the roasted pumpkin pizza for example) The ambiance is very modern / industrial.
