Its a counter service pizza joint with the ability to craft your own unique creations or choose from their specials. Think Chipotle for pizza. I came here on a Friday night late at night after the movies looking for a quick snack on the way home. As far as late night food goes I am something of a pizza guy, having grown up in the CT and NY areas. Pizza is what we do. Ill start with the positives the ingredients are fresh and tasty. My BBQ chicken pizza with gorgonzola was flavorful. The service was also fast considering the line out the door. This is because they use fast baking dough. It makes cooks in the flame oven for 5 minutes. This leads me to the negatives. That dough was just not right for me. It was soft and tasteless and ultimately was the major flaw in the pizza. If you are looking for a satisfying thin NYC style greasy slice then this is not your place. On the other hand if you are looking to get creative and put a veritable salad on your pie then give it a try.

I live down the street from Blaze. It took me 6 months after moving before making it into the place. I just assumed it was a common pizza joint. It turns out its not just a run of the mill pizza joint. I. Love. Their. Pizza. The concept is great. An amazing array of every ingredient you could want on a pizza. Then you go down the line adding what sounds tasty. and in the end: A fantastic pizza pie. BUT where Blaze goes even more right is the staff. The attitude of everyone working is positive, upbeat, and they never, never, NEVER make you feel bad (or stupid, or stingy) asking for a little extra of an ingredient here and there. In particular, theres a classy dude named Andrew. That guy has surprised me with professional kindness every single time I go in. Hes offered me a glass for water while I wait for my pizza to cook, hes asked me how my day was going, he recognized me from the week before. And the guy is genuine. What an all-star.

Blaze FAST-Fire Pizza is seriously true to its name! Thanks to Pi Day, the lines were out the door yesterday but they managed the crowd so well! I want to give them major props for churning out pizzas at record times. I was in and out within 15 minutes! They even provided iced mango and strawberry drinks for everyone waiting in the heat outside, this gesture was much appreciated! Along with great customer service, this build-your-own pizza chain also stands out from the others in the variety of fresh ingredients they offer. You can literally come up with an infinite number of combos from all the ingredients and sauces. Although, I would suggest going simple so you dont overload your pizza and confuse your taste buds! *Tip* Since the location is on the busy Colorado and Molino corner, I would recommend parking in the lot on Molino and Union. Street parking can be difficult during rush hour times.

Fresh ingredients and superb service and reasonable prices keep me coming back every Friday night. The atmosphere is great too! Did I mention the employees? They rock! This is the greatest bunch of youths anywhere! These kids work, smile, laugh, pay attention, make quality a priority...I have eaten out lots of places in the last two years many places within 100 miles of L.A. This particular restaurant, this Blaze Pizza, is my favorite! And that is due to the people working here! Also the clientele is great but I attribute that to the young folks spreading joy.

Blaze pizza is simply really good fire-grilled pizza and the line of patrons extending outside the door says it all. If you order online, you can surpass the long line of hungry tummies and just pick it up after checking in with the cashier. I LOVE Blaze because you can build your own pizza with unlimited toppings for a cost efficient flat fee. Skip the soda and order their fresh lemonade. You will not be disappointed. Blaze is a great place for a casual date night, hanging with friends or and is family friendly.

Love the concept! Service is friendly and expedient. The pizza is consistently cooked well, with fresh ingredients to choose from. I am still amazed that the pizza is cooked so quickly, but the end result doesnt taste like it was just nuked a few minutes in the microwave. The wine and beer choices round out a nice dinner, well-valued at around $12. Parking is my least favorite part, with the recent building construction taking up what was once a convenient lot. Quality pizza at fast food speed!

Coming here is great! They always serve the pizza to my liking and never complain. You can either add one topping or 8 and its still the same price. I love it! The bathrooms are clean, the atmosphere is relaxed and chill, the big windows make it seem much much bigger than it already is and the menu is great if you want the basics stuff. Quality ingredients to the nines! Come here and youll leave happy as a pizza lover.

Quick service but to me the pizza isnt anything great. We went just before going to the movie. The pizza is wimpy and you have fold it just to get it into your mouth. Not all that flavorful. Thats about it, you go for the service just dont stay for the food. Oh I think the drinks are way over priced for sodas and the like; they are like $2.79 for soda and thats not cheap.

This whole create your own pizza chipotle style is really taking over and Im really praying to the pizza gods that its not just a fad or a trend. By far Blaze takes the cake (or the pie) when it comes to this. I dont know what it is exactly in comparison, but theirs is really the best. The crust is the perfect consistency, a lot of options even for the gluten-free vegan.

First time having this pizza today! Delish! Light, crispy crust and the red sauce was yum! Not too acidic like some pizza sauces, had a little sweetness to it. I did a simple sausage and mushroom. Thought Id take the leftovers home but not a chance. Got hungry around 3 oclock so I finished it! Looking forward to coming back soon!!!

This place is usually busy around lunch and dinner hours, but thats because it has great tasting customizable pizzas for a great price! Service is fast once you offer, and the pizzas are fresh. (And when problems arise, they have never hesitated in compensating me with a free pizza!) They truly care about their customers.

Had a great experience here at Blaze for my first time there a week ago. Staff was super friendly, and the food is quite good. They do unlimited toppings here which kind of means you need to exhibit a bit of self control to not fill your pizza up too much! Definitely recommend as a casual eatery in Pasadena.

Best pizza experience in the business. Great environment, customer service, and the pizza is delicious. I can get the same amount of pizza for $7 then I get at MOD for $11. Everything about the pizza was fantastic, especially the crust and red sauce. Will definitely be going back soon with my friends.

Theres a reason why I am here almost every Friday. Build your own pizza with quality ingredients and it gets done fast. Staff is super friendly, love the vibe and the pizza always comes out great. Gluten Free options too. Skip those other knockoffs like Pieology or Pizza Rev. This is the real deal!
