Wasnt sure what to expect walking down the dimly lit hallway... But there was light at the end of the tunnel... along with music... and amazing cocktails... and yummy food... and a 2nd bar room with pinball & shuffleboard... and a fabulous patio (even if it is missing a view of something other than the alley)! Soooo much to enjoy here! We grabbed a spot on the patio, looked up the menu online, ordered at the bar, and soaked it all in! Yes, the food menu is a tad limited... But what we did try was gooood (Bernie G. you were right)! Drinks were STRONG and delish!! Chipotle honey wings were crispy outside, juicy inside, and had just the right amount of sweet & spicy! Mac n cheese was a bit watery/runnier than Im used to, but was still yummy! The double burger was a lot of meat to handle, thats for sure! Nothing extraordinary, but was still good! But the house made pickles - nom nom nom!!! As evening set in and the patio lights came on, loved the ambiance even more! There are two back doors to enter from the alley/garage, TVs (which were actually playing soccer to my delight), and a nice mix of music permeating the background, but not blaring. Id come back just for the drinks and the patio ambiance alone, especially during these wonderful summer nights! :) Kings Row rules!

Ive been going to this bar for a few years now, and tonight the staff just hit the nail in the coffin with their terrible service. I ordered 3 gin and jennys for me and my friends, and we didnt like them because they were extremely sour. Nevertheless we decided to settle for more simple drinks we ordered a Moscow mule and two gin and club sodas. They served us a Moscow mule that was watered down, and gin and tonic when I specifically emphasized that I wanted the two gin with club soda and not tonic. The third time they got the drinks right. We left to go to a different establishment and when we came back to drink at kings row 2 hours later, they decided to kick us out of the bar, the security was very rude, he came charging on me and asked me that I cant be here, and when I asked him why he didnt give me a valid reason. He was very ambiguous, and extremely grotesque in his demeanor. I went to ask the bartender why they want us to leave to get a different opinion on the matter. She replied that I was rude and the reason is because I returned six drinks. I really hope these people get their matter in order because otherwise this business will crumble and fall.

Popped in for some Sunday Funday drinks with a small group of friend. The ambiance is super cool and on a great SoCal day - the patio is definitely the place to be. They offer a vast variety of beers and their great list of mixology cocktails. I ordered the Spring & All and a beer on draft - total $17 for two drinks, my cocktail being $12...ouch! Im all for paying a steep price tag on a drink that will wow me, but when you fill 1/2 the glass with crushed ice - Im just not okay with the price tag anymore. They do have live music, it was really fun to see the crowd get in to the songs the band played. The downside is, it is a LIVE band, so the music is pretty loud and tough to carry a conversation with a friend sitting 2 feet away from you. I was told the fries are worth trying here, but I wasnt in the mood for extra/empty calories - maybe another time. Overall: cool spot and great ambiance for amazing SoCal weather. Would definitely pay a visit back and check out more of their beer selections.

On a street with lots of bars and restaurants Kings Row is the best of both. With a unique and often changing selection of brew you have to come often to get the same thing twice - making this place perfect for someone desiring to experience new beers. The staff is friendly and the patio is spacious and private. One time I went in for a late lunch and the owner was behind the bar. Noticing the book I was carrying he engaged me in one of the best conversations I have had with a bar tender in years. The food is delicious classic pub fare in medium portions and the Happy Hour prices are perfect. The only point which diminishes the experience is that you have to order everything from the bar, so if the place is busy, as it often is at night, you have too seriously want that next drink or food order.

We quite literally stumbled onto this place on a recent visit to Pasadena. With just a doorway on Colorado Boulevard, it would be easy to miss. This doorway leads you down a long hallway to the establishment in the back of the building with several rooms and a fantastic patio in the alley out back. Unfortunately, the food for our party of 4 came out very unevenly from the kitchen. The 1st person served was done eating by the time the 4th person served received their food. But the staff was quick to make it up to us and the quality of the food was very good. In addition, I was impressed by the breadth of their beverage menu. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Pasadena.

Great food and drinks all in a great atmosphere at Kings Row. Went there for a burger and drink with my mom this week and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and Debbie they had. The double burger was tasty and priced at $15 Id say it was an ok deal for old town, especially given the quality. The Moscow mules are small but very tasty. Although all drinks are pricey, this is unfortunately comparable to other pubs with craft beers like Lucky Baldwins. Definitely would like to eat here again and not have to pay, maybe would take my GF here but at the same time we could buy enough liquor to kill ourselves drinking with friends at home for their prices.

This place used to be fantastic! The old manager used to ensure qualuty of drinks and atmosphere were on point. Now idk were he is but the place has gone really downhill. Came for "reggae night" only to hear everything but that! To top it off there is this disgusting drink called a "Tequila Nilla" that tastes like BBQ sauce (and not in a good way). Go somwere else!

Food is good basic gastropub fare. Mac n Cheese and Nan Bread are good choices. Beer (crafts) and cocktail selections are good and diverse. Happy Hour is not bad, either. $15.00 burger becomes $10.00 burger. $1.00 off most beers, etc. Happy Hour daily 4-7 and all day Tuesday. Music Thurs-Sun. Always same reggae themed band. Bob Marley covers, etc.

Very nice decoration and feel, live music. But expensive food and must be ordered through the counter not really a problem but felt a bit crazy and got bounced from one end to the other. Seems like they have a good selection of drinks but didnt get a chance to order any wings over spiced and the blue cheese sauce was too thin.

Cocktail and sides selection are great... The naan bread stuffed with parmesan cheese is awesome. Did have a wait at the bar as they only had two bartenders (this is also where you order your food) but the taste of the drink and food made up for it. Live entertainment was good. Good place to chill and hangout with friends.
