So where to start... Besides having a very nice selection of craft beer, rotating art on the walls, good music always playing, A friendly environment, and inviting employees, one of the owners, Mike, has added very tasty vegan options to their menu. My favorite is the 6740 burger with the vegan chicken style patty substituted, its the best Ive had to date. They also have traditional style corn tortilla tacos with the option to substitute carne with "spisoy" which is a very flavorful soy "meat" that may fool or at least win over the most staunch meat eaters. Their vegan menudo is also a special and rare find anywhere, and they have PERFECTED it (only available on weekends). Another hard to come by item is a vegan michelada, which they also serve. This bar should be more known for its food in my opinion! Eat there, its impossible to be disappointed.

We come here once or twice a month and get their Santa Fe Burger on a what bun with extra green chiles. Great selection of beer and a cider or two on tap with more selections in bottles. The staff is friendly and the patrons are, for the most part, well behaved. The juke box is stocked with current alternative rock along with some older (80s - 10s... That looks weird) which it appears varies in volume based on the taste of whoever controls the volume behind the bar. Interesting art work (some I like and some I hope someone else might like) on the wall is for sale. It appears to be from local artists.

I come here for the Baja Cauliflower Tacos and turmeric rice, both are vegan dishes. They are so delicious and crispy. The rice is a big generous portion and I can usually share it with the kids. Whenever I come here, I am with my parents who are on a special diet. They are very accomadating and even know what their usual order is.i love the atmosphere and service. Its a great hangout spot with delicious food.

Not gonna lie this place absolutely stole my heart, at first glance this place seems like a bar in your grandpas basement. But it is absolutely incredible, the service is fantasic, the people are amazing, and the food will paralyze your tastebuds with awesomeness. Disregard the 5 star it deserves at least 6 maybe even 7. If youre ever in whittier give the 6740 a try and you wont regret it.

Although sometimes the service is ridiculously slow, the review is only based on the food. The food is amazing, the fried shrimp/fish tacos are amazing. The wings are meaty and drowned in sauce compared to other places where it might as well be a dry rub. Look forward to my next stop.

Its funny, been coming gnhere for years with my now wife, it seems to adapt with us: from the best burgers and chicken sandwiches to a great selection of vegan and vegetarian selections. The spisoy tacos and vegan menudo on Sunday is the best!
