This was my first experience at True Kitchen and it was great! I was meeting a friend for dinner. We needed a place that was easy to get to for both of us. I have driven past True Kitchen on a few occasions on my way to work. It look interesting and I made the suggestion we give it a try. I am so happy that I did! I had the cauliflower soup, panang curry with shrimp we decided to share the squash pie for dessert. My friend had the Brussel sprouts and the butternut squash pizza. We shared a little bit of each others food. Everything was delicious! The soup was perfect on a cold night. It had a nice flavor with just enough spice. I really enjoyed the curry. The pizza was very tasty. I would of never thought of squash pie it was awesome. Finally I must mention the Brussel sprouts which were FREAKIN AWESOME! I might actually start eating them. I typically say that I despise them. Oh my gosh these were so flavorful that I may have been converted! Overall a great experience from service to food we cant wait to come back again!

Brunch: Watch out Mayfields, True Food has come to take your lunch money, I mean brunch money. Their brunch was amazing, and with a more casual vibe. We had the Garden Scramble and Breakfast Sando, both of which were really good. Garden scramble came with brussels sprouts (yum!) and the breakfast sando had smoked turkey with crushed avocados. They also made us one of the most delicious caramel lattes Ive ever had (and Im picky about my coffee)... The caramel latte is not even on the menu, but they got some caramel and made it for me! :) Dinner: Food here is absolutely great, the brussels sprouts are a must. I had the turkey burger which was very tasty, without having that weird consistency of turkey burgers. My partner had their margherita pizza which was also delicious (italian style pizza).

What an epicuren delight. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. We ordered three starters and they were all equally delicious. We had the steelhead, sea bass and spaghetti squash casserole as our entrees and we all were eating from each others plates. And of course we had to have the key lime pie and flan for dessert. We love that no Dairy is used and that they are so conscious of what they put on our plates. If I could give this restaurant more stars I would ! We had the opportunity to meet chef Michael and he was so pleasant and personable! From the moment we walked into the restaurant we were treated like VIPs, from the hostess, bartender and our waiter. We cant wait to go back again. This is definitely our new favorite restaurant!!

Business is booming and the quality of service and food is way down. We used to love this place when it opened. Last time we were there, the wait was long even after we got seated. Ordered the quinoa burger with sweet potato hash. The hash was partly burnt and had a burnt smell to it. Manager came over acknowledged, apologized, went back to bring a new batch and never showed after. After waiting for a long time, we got our check with a $7.50 discount. Thanks but no thanks. We are not going there again.

Help Cheif Ramsey ! Come in with a baby, hungry . The restaurant is half empty in a Friday. can only be sat at the bar , There are 7 SEVEN empty tables and the place is half full . 50 people working in it and the wait is 30 min. There are please complaint about the wait to sit, people complaining about the wait to get their meal, the bar is slow , seems they havent worked the kinks out . Seems there is a problem both in the front of the house and in the kitchen .

This place is a bit on the pricy side, but they have some great vegan and vegetarian options (as well as non-vegetarian). We were there for brunch and tried the Vegan Chorizo Burrito and the Ancient Grains Bowl. The burrito was really tasty. Their vegan chorizo is better than Chipotles sofritas. The sweet potato hash is a tasty side. The bowl is also tasty, and probably a lot healthier. They have a bunch of juices and even the coffee is good.

The atmosphere in here and the location of this place are great. It gets super busy on weekends, so definitely put your name in early. All of the food is so fresh. I really enjoyed the quinoa bowl, the edamame dumplings and the tofu burrito. The menu also changes seasonally which is nice because you can always find new options. The foods are prepared based off of an anti-inflammatory diet, so it is mostly healthy and whole-foods plant-based.

Pros: The atmosphere was really nice The drinks are amazing Really hospitable service Cons Really long wait for a table and the waitlist system crashed in the middle Slow service A little pricey for the portions and food quality The dishes were very salty. The meat was well seasoned by over cooked. Overall, this was a pleasant experience. Its a nice place for drinks and relaxing after shopping, but the food was a bit disappointing.

The layout inside is inviting but there is always a wait during the weekends no matter what time of the day. The food is okay, though I could find a better treating turkey wrap somewhere else. The fish tacos is good but can be better. The quinoa teriyaki bowl with shrimp and their banana smoothie might be worth a try a second time around. So far, I like the atmosphere here but Tender Greens would be my first option if around this area.

Large open restaurant with a healthy menu. The menu isnt extensive but anyone can easily find something to enjoy. For starters, the edamame dumplings were delicious (on par with high-end restaurants weve had them at). The burger was also tasty with caramelized onions and arugula. Others in our party enjoyed the ancient grains bowl and the red chili noodles. The food definitely didnt disappoint and neither did the service.

Happy this place finally opened up here in Palo Alto - visited several times the Santa Monica location and was never disappointed. Great variety of healthy food options. The different drinks are outstanding and the wine by the glass are very affordable (not usually the case in the Bay Area). Love the colors of the interior and the openness.

I cant speak to whether the food really is anti-inflammatory, but its all really good! Ive never been disappointed here. I still have yet to try their cocktails, but if theyre anything like their mixed juices and teas, Im sure theyll be awesome. Theres usually a wait, so be sure to call ahead and make a reservation just in case.

We came on a weekday afternoon, the restaurant was barely half full but the arrogant/looking hostesses kept us waiting in line while they chatted amongst themselves in front of a long line of customers waiting to be seated. We would have appreciated at least an explanation why we had to wait with so many empty tables around.

Good food and friendly staff, with a nice variety of meal options. The restaurant was a little loud on the inside, and its expensive, but overall had a good time. It was my sisters birthday, and our waiter (Michael) did a great job bringing out the cake, etc. I would go back, but only for a special occasion.

Empty tables but a 45 minute wait for one of them. No need to go to this restaurant youll need a reservation and might get a table or might not. Its no wonder casual restaurants who want full tables dont do reservations, do call ahead or wait and you dont get seated until your entire party is present.
