Went here for lunch on a weekday. We were able to snag a table for 9 as the place wasnt very busy. Service was pretty good and the food came out with good time~! I went for the pulled port dish, served with 2 sides, a pickle and a piece of white bread (~18$). the sides that come with the dish are fairly large, they definitely do not skimp out on those! I got the cole slaw and mac-n-cheese. Cole slaw came in a little bucket, but had a lot of juice on the bottom. I like the flavor but it got a bit vinigery near the end. The mac-n-cheese was amazing! I actually really liked it! Cheesy but not so much, nicely baked, only wish it had bacon in it or some kind of meat! The pulled pork was alright. They have 3 different sauces that you can pour all over the meat, which gives the meat a lot more taste. By itself, the meat was okay, a little bit of flavor but not as tender as I think it could have been. Didnt get a beer but they have a nice collection of beers on tap!

Screwy - There was a stainless machine screw (probably from the hood) in my mac & cheese. I put a bite in my mouth and felt something hard. Thankfully I did not bite down on the screw. I notified my bartender who showed the screw to the cook. Being a business owner myself I had empathy for what was an honest mistake, and I did not throw a fit. They only comped my beer, did not offer a fresh order of mac & cheese and at the end of the meal as we were walking out, what may have been the manager asked if everything was ok. I felt like they were less than accomodating for the situation at hand, were not grateful for my patience and understanding in the matter, and ultimately wanted to ignore what had happened. Most people in this day and age are just waiting for an accident like this to cash in on.

So two stars sound like it was terrible but the food is not awful just Ive definetly had better BBQ. The place is nice and service friendly but the food is not what you want when you go to a BBQ place. I ordered as one of my sides this Mac and cheese that had a brisket chili underneath sounded amazing but it reminded me of some hamburger helper i used to have when I was a kid. The sandwich good when you drench it in sauce but the plate came with 3 little slices of brisket. BBq is supposed to be a big hearty meal not these tiny pretentious portions. and if its going to be little it better be damn good to make up for the portion. The only thing that was good here was the bourbon bread pudding that we ended our night with The only thing I would come back here for.

I showed up at 9:45pm on a Saturday. I was told the establishment would be closing at 10:00pm. I did not feel comfortable putting in for food so close to closing. Signage on the window states the establishment closes at 11:00pm as do multiple online sources. Update: Made it back at a more reasonable hour this time. The food was good, not award winning BBQ, but recognizable as good. A little overpriced considering the portion size, but they tried to made an effort to make the place look nice. A very contrived hip southern aesthetic. So I guess this means they can charge more, Im okay with that. Revising my rating upwards accordingly.

The food was ok. Some of us got well cooked food while others in our party had received marginally over cooked food. The service was quite slow as I have to ask the waitress on 5 occasions if I could get a set of silverware. Which ended up taking an hour for me to actually receive my silverware. They also messed up a few of the food orders and the sides ordered. The servers dont seem very genuine when comfronting the table for orders. I only gave 3 stars because the cornbread was amazing, and so was the tater appitizer. The biscuit was also nice and tender.

Food was good. Service was misleading. Me and my girlfriend orderd the any 4 items to share. We wanted a variety to try out since we had not been there. The waiter suggested we try the chicken. I dont usaully eat chicken when we go out because I eat it enouph on a regular basis. But since he sugged got it. Check comes and its 3.99 extra for the chicken. Like who would pay extra for chicken at a smoked joint? He said it was because it was a half a chicken. Really was the smallest chicken I have ever seen too. The Mac and cheese was great.

Great brisket and great Tri Tip! The ribs however were disappointing. They were charred, thin, dry, and brittle. They are supposed to be plump, juicy, and tender. This place is great. Amazing and friendly people, awesome beer choices, the sides are great. Everything is perfect. You guys just gotta step up your game on the ribs. No biggie, you can do it. So, Ive been back and the ribs are better this time. Ill give the fifth start back after a few times. Just need to be sure.

Very disappointed, I drove 45 minutes to get there, burnt ends had chunks of fat on it, and I ordered 4 meat plater very small portions the tri tip was grilled it wasnt smoked brisket was dry, I usually go to phils in san diego, theres no comparison, they have full rack of baby back ribs for 19.99 at ,smoked they have st Louis style ribs which is the cheaper cut 1/2 rack for 20.99 ,I wouldnt repeat.

I brought my girlfriend here and I could not find one thing wrong with this place. The ambience is fun and comfortable. The inside is very unique and welcoming. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff couldnt have been better. I even told my girlfriend that this falls into my top 5 favorite restaurants (we eat out a lot too..) Definitely give it a try!

One of the first restaurants we tried when we moved here. It quickly became one of our most frequented restaurants. We have tried multiple different plates and have never been disappointed. Not to mention great beer options, amazing desserts, daily specials, and an exceptionally friendly staff.

Food was good, wish the brisket sandwiches was a bit bigger for the cost. Loved the corn bread, wish there was more for the amount since they were little bit size muffles. Service was good, the lady was kind. Didnt drink but they have a great line of different beers on tap.

This place is good every time I come here. Their bacon is the best bacon Ive ever tasted. This is one of the few BBQ places I always find myself coming back to. The meats are cooked perfectly and they have a lot of good options if youre not wanting traditional BBQ.

One of the best bbq places around, with a unique California take on classic bbq favourites. An ever-changing selection of craft beers and some of the best desserts Ive had in a long time. Tends to be crowded on the weekends, but worth the wait.

This is the best restaurant in the orange circle and my personal favorite barbecue place. Great food. Solid prices. Me and my fiance always split a pick 3. You get 3 meats, two sides, and a slice of bread. We always leave full and smiling.
