Coming to this place was such a yummy treat throughout college! They used to only be open for dinner and late-night eats, but have since adjusted their hours to include lunch and the in-betweens. :) I always ask for a half-and-half order of Garlic Soy and Sweet & Sour chicken. Their chicken goes real well with a side of rice (which would have to be ordered additionally), though I know many people just down the chicken on its own. Cheese corn, yogurt soju, and tteokbokki are other popular orders. Nowadays, I tend to call in (20 min. before!) and just grab chicken to-go. Theyre considerate to include a sizable plastic heat-sealed container of their pickled radish and another of their salad appetizers in to-go bags. Bringing food home is nice because you can make & eat your own rice in quiet comfort, haha. However, their restaurant is a popular little spot to hang out with friends for dinner and after, too. They have their own parking lot, but you can also find parking on the streets if theres no vacancies. Expect a bit of a wait getting a table on most evenings if dining in-house (although theres sometimes surprising availability nowadays). UPDATE: I found their chicken noticeably less flavorful the last time I ordered my usual. Not sure if its a one-time fluke, but there was a lot more bland white meat on my chicken rather than the usual packed-to-bursting-in-flavor wings expected. The sauce flavor was right, but the choice of meat and saturation of flavors therein was definitely off.

My korean friend really hyped this place up so it didnt really reach my high expectations. Apparently they just remodeled but still have their Korean fried chicken specialties, some other traditional food like rice, bulgogi, and of course soju and other cocktails and beer. I tried the soy + garlic wings and the sweet + Spicy wings, along with garlic calamari. The dishes came with a side of cabbage with a little thousand island. I like the soy and garlic (with a slight amount of honey), there was a good amount of breading for a nice texture and flavor was good. It seemed like there wasnt very much meat and it was inconsistent with pieces with bones and some without. The sweet and spicy was just ok, the spice was nice but the garlic flavor is slightly better. Decent Korean comfort food when craving fried chicken, but nowhere near as good as San Tung.

Tips: - call it "oh bee chicken" otherwise people will think youre a noob - 3 chicken dishes + 2 ramen was enough for 7 people Pros: - garlic chicken was the best! - most of the chicken pieces are boneless - sweet and spicy was alright - yogurt soju is delicious (but weak in alcohol content) Cons: - inattentive service - regular chicken was boring - imposed 18% tip for parties of 6+ Bottom line: this is a Berkeley must. Korean fried chicken is way different from other cultures fried chicken and super tasty. I think I liked the seasoning at Holy Moly better but OBs chicken is boneless.

Fun place for K-Pop and Korean food! Many TVs showing Korean pop music on a YouTube playlist, still has Christmas decorations up in Feb LOL! Streetside door blocked so walk around to parking lot entrance. A few non-spicy food options so better if you like spicy hot for more choices. Food was cooked fresh & delicious. I had glass noodles & prawns with vegetables, my date had spicy clam soup. More popular with a late night crowd, it seems. We were only ones there from 6-7pm, people arriving as we left.

KFC!! Cool little whole in the wall joint that some of the beast Korean fried chicken. With K-pop video on display, the staff greets you with a complimentary crispy kimchi pancake while decide which dishes to devour. They serve your typical dishes like spicy rice cakes, jhap chae, and those creepers - pineapple and strawberry soju. Its a great place for big parties and they have ample parking in their lot.

This place is great for groups. The larger the better. The food served is meant to be shared and its far too much for just a few people. They have several flavors of chicken wings. I like the garlic one. The cheese corn is also popular, but I recommend eating that first because its not as great once the cheese solidifies when cool. They do pitchers of beer too.

The chicken is really really good, but they have a really weird policy around beer (and when your allowed to drink it) Theyve always been really nice about it, but Ive never been to another restaurant were you have to be finished with you drink by 10pm. (not just last call, literally done drinking...)

Great place to have fun with friends to get a couple of drinks and eat Korean style drinking food. They have flavored cocktails and typical Korean drinks like Soju and Korean beers (forgot which brand). They also have happy hour specials from 9pm, making that a great time to come in and enjoy.

The Korean fried chicken is good here. Im guessing something between the overly crunchy skin and acidic sauces they use causes the skin in my mouth to get messed up after every meal here though. Wish the soju was either cheaper or stronger.

Decent KFC but they really need to work on their service, the clarity of when they have happy hour, and making sure their eating area is clean (though one time it smelled like detergent, surely theres a good middle ground).

Came on St Patricks day which obviously made it more busy as there was a spike in alcohol consuming customers. But despite the slower service the bulgogi, fried chicken, and glass noodles I ordered were delicious.

Great for Korean BBQ chicken, and also other Korean "fast food" dishes. The place can be a little busy and the floor is kinda sticky most of the time. Does have its own parking lot which is nice.
