Moved to the neighborhood a few months ago and FINALLY had a chance to check it out. Guy took my order and flat out never made it; other customers came and went, we literally stared at each other a few times until I went up and he asked if I was waiting for something. Yeah, ten minutes for a mocha. That wouldve been the end of it but when I asked for a refund he kept saying how they could make it right away, like dude just give me my money back.

Good music, good atmosphere for studying and working. Ambient noise and wide open space conducive to conversation without feeling self-conscious. Outlets are scattered in mostly hard to reach locations. Bike rack out front and also weirdly inside along the back wall. I cant imagine deciding to weave my bike through the tables and chairs and people to access these but I have admittedly never been here when its raining.

One of my favorite coffee/tea/lunch/snack places in Temescal. Although food can be a bit inconsistent, depending on whos covering the kitchen. Poached eggs overcooked on too many occasions. But other sandwiches are great. Their baked goods selection gets scarce by later morning. Love the overall atmosphere and the crowd is fun to watch and be part of.

Feels like Im back in the 90s, in a good way. Get a cup and settle in to a shared table or comfy chair. Read a novel by David Foster Wallace or Dave Eggers, or another David of your choosing. Enjoy the bathroom graffiti -- no one can judge you in there. Leave when its getting dark, your nerves are jangled, and your stomach is sour.

Big space with big shared tables and not so comfortable chairs. A lot of people working there, with fast Wi-Fi connection and below average coffee. Great for people watching but the music is so loud that it is not nice to stay a whole afternoon.

Its a great space to work or chat... Good atmosphere though very hipster. The coffee is unusually expensive given similar quality places nearby, but its still tasty. Internet can be spotty when theres a bunch of people there.

Coffee shop that also serves up food and beer on tap. Staff is friendly, and the coffee was good. The place itself it very large, with plenty of seating. There are generally rotating artwork on the wall around the interior.

We had a very nice espresso here- theres tons of working space, decent wifi, no cell service somehow. Staff was friendly, location a bit odd to me- kind of seemed like the only thing alive on the block.
