Let me begin by saying that I first took my two girls (ages 3 and 1) to Kids World at the beginning of the summer and it was FANTASTIC!! They had just reopened, it was clean, the service was friendly and my kids really enjoyed the play area. It cost me $15 to get them in and we definitely got our moneys worth. We were excited to return,...which we have. I have since returned to Kids World twice,...the most recent visit was this afternoon. In the few short months since my first visit, I have developed an ENTIRELY different opinion of this place. Yes, the play area was still fun for my little ones, but the toddler area (which is clearly marked for children 3 and under) was populated by much older, larger kids,...kids that have the potential to crush my little 25 pound tot in the ball pit. There was no management in sight to rectify this, not did any of the staff members care, let alone notice. Said ball pit (in two months time) acquired a very distinct urine odor and I was so off put by this, that we decided to have a snack for a bit. We approached the food area, only to NOT be greeted by the sour-faced young lady who was clearly thinking of being elsewhere. I received no smile, no thank you and 25 minutes later, we were served a cold hot dog and a $2.14 itty bitty container of milk. When that young lady was relieved by her co-worker, she was replaced by a militant young man with a hickey in the middle of his neck. I get it,...young guys feel like this may be a badge of their impending manliness, but for crying out loud,...this is supposed to be a family joint! This young man also stunk of "I dont give a damn" and we did not receive a smile or a thank you for him either. Again disappointed, we played on the slide and read some of the books for a bit before we decided to go home. As we came around the counter to exit, a different, equally sour-faced young lady pointed scissors at me and abruptly said, "Lemme see your wristband." No "Hi.", no "Did you have a good time?", no "May I help you remove your wristband?",....just a rude order for me and my kids to produce our wrists. Now, I understand that it must be difficult to staff a place like this,...most likely a minimum wage job, and most likely just local kids from the nearby high school trying to make some money during summer. HOWEVER,....it is NOT that hard to train and expect your staff to smile, stand up straight and do ANYTHING other than look miserable while counting the minutes until they get to go home. If the owners/management of this place want to continue to keep their doors open, I highly suggest that they find more eager employees, re-train/encourage their existing staff to pep it up a bit, and for the love of God,...buy new balls for the ballpit! I am hopeful that this review is read by the owners/management as I will return to Kids World just one more time. If we have the same experience we had today,...youll never see me, my kids or my friends kids again,...no one likes a nasty, dirty playground with rude employees.

Like others said this place is way better than chucky cheese. There is magnet locking door at exit, that the staff must open so your kid will not wander out. Small basketball hoops, air hockey, toddler ball pit, and no sharp edges anywhere. I plan to get their food next time so I may update, but the prices seemed relatively decent food wise. The food had some healthy options such as salads, wraps and fresh fruit. The rest is fried items and pizza. The entrance fees are 5 bucks but discounts for more kids. Adults get in free to supervise their kids. Lastly they host kids parties 15 kids for 299 up to 600 depending on all goodies you want included with the party. There is an option to rent the whole place out as well. Owner and staff were very nice. Oh and one more thing if your like me and never win enough tickets for that prize your kid is bugging you for, you can just buy it!! Tokens=cents to buy prizes.

One of the worst place I have ever seen its fun all the staff very rude very unorthodox Ill come in stone hear conversations about them getting stoned them about parking in front of my kids very disturbing hickeys on their necks I dont understand what kind of place this would be for kids management needs to get on their employees I understand that they are all young but for a place for kids its not a place for drug conversations and sex conversations and partying this is a kids environment not a high school Hangout besides that the food is horrible very overpriced had to stand in line waiting for someone to attend me as I waved on people they just ride by and say oh thats not me I dont work there that are saying excuse me do you need help they are very rude they need to work on the staff!! People need to walk in there feeling welcome not with people looking all upset like they dont want to be there

I was attacked by wild vicious kids while in the nerf ball arena area, one of the best times Ive had in a while. 30 minutes into being there I forgot I was there for my son (7yrs of age). Great place for kids and parents who also want to interact with their kids. There is also a nice food court area for parents who need to check their phones for whats going on with social network. My son has had a taste of greatness now he treats ChuckEcheese like a pizza place.

I went with my job to take the summer camp kids. We had about 30 kids and there was another camp there as well as families. The ball machines were broken and we told the workers several times and they said they would fix them. However, they never did. Children and adults needed to take their shoes off and I felt the floor wasnt even clean enough for us to be walking around without shoes. Some kids loved it others became bored shortly after arriving.

I love taking my kids here. Its a really cool indoor kids playground. One of my neighbors recommended me to go here, and me and my kids have been in love! Everything is so kid friendly. My kids are always asking me to take them to Kids World. This is the place to go to in Oak Park. I love how they have healthy snacks for the kids. The play structure is so cool. I sometimes go in it with my kids too!

I believe Kids world is the cleanest, smoke free, well organized and safest family park in Los Angeles. Fair prices for food and a good mix with amusement. Enough for the small kids. My kids and me really enjoyed the laser games in the kids world. Well trained staff and a good variation of food and drinks makes it all into a good day for the family. Have a few hours fun in the park.

A great day out.Thought the food and beverage options were good and reasonably priced. Really fantastic - staff are great from the beginning, entering in the park and all way round. All the facilities inside are designed for family and kids. It is a good place for family and for kids.
