This place has awesome customer service, including excellent food! I am totally into with their zesty, delicious vegetable soup (not vegetarian though, since they use pork as the soup base) for a soup and salad choice! And their Eggs Benedict is wonderful for breakfast! I also recommend their ribs, if you are looking for an alternative to any commercial bbq place!

Food came out looking well done but was raw on the inside so the burner must be too high to cook right, so the cook needs to go back to school. The coffe... well lets just say the coffee tastes like the food literally like the pot is right next to the burner so the coffee absorbs the taste... needless to say ill take the time to drive to side st. Cafe next time...

I love the waitstaff! They are the best! The food is good at a pretty reasonable price. Coffee is great. But, I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope that the owners will fix the place. It is falling apart and is in desperate need of repair and cleaning. Ive been going to this restaurant for about 35 years have many good memories here and want many more... if they fix it.

When you are looking for a place that reminds you of the great times at grandmas house, this is the place. This is the kind of place you can have a family tradition. In fact my family has gone there every weekend since 2007. We moved to Simi and found this restaurant and have never been disappointed. Michael and Diana make it feel like home.

The place looks like it could be good from the outside, but went in and felt disappointed. People were friendly and attentive so I did give 2 stars, but the food was not good. Pancakes were rubbery, biscuits and gravy were horrible, and bacon was burnt. I cannot recommend this place.

This place just isnt what it used to be. Foods not all that great, service isnt very good, and the decor...? Its hideous. They cant decide whether to do a country thing or an asian thing. And the asian stuff theyve thrown in there is all really cheap looking crap.

Ive been to this restaurant a number of times as it is the place for locals and the occasional roadside traveler. The staff is nice and the food is a good value. They have everything from bacon and eggs to burgers and fries.

This place is excellent!! Best country style cooking I have had in sometime. There food is excellent, service not all that but for the price you cant beat it. This is my second favorite restuarant first would by Mimis.

Number 1 breakfast place in Simi, even if someone tells you otherwise. They could improve the decor of the place with easy means, but this is all I can say as a negative. Love NY Steak and Eggs with taters for 8.75.
