The good quality here is really good.. I asked about the organic ham and the owner came out and was very open with where the food comes from.. he told me the farms and actually really cares about the quality of the ingredients. I have to say the service was excellent and the fact you can sit outside in the patio with your doggie friends is very nice. We had the organic ham cheese crepe with an egg yoke on top. Perfectly cooked egg.. also had the poached eggs on croissant with organic ham and Hollandaise.. very yummy. We first thought that it was impossible to have organic ham as pigs eat everyrhing.. our doubts were shattered when he gave us the name of the farm and asked us to look it up and he welcomed our feedback. Wish I stayed and ordered a couple more things on the menu. Next time.. very soon!

Stay away. My wife ordered the quiche Lorraine. For $15 it was a huge ripoff. The quiche was watery and bland, and the crust was limp and wet. Like it was microwaved from frozen. I ordered the steak and eggs. I asked for the eggs scrambled in the French style, which should be like a soft custard with very fine curds. They came out dry, rubbery, and tasteless, worse than scrambled eggs Ive had at Dennys. The steak was even more shameful; a poorly cooked piece of rancid hanger steak. They literally served me a rotten steak. They offered to do another one, but I opted for a side of bacon instead, also a mistake. Five strips of bland fat swimming in grease. Nothing French about this place at all, and aside from that the food is just plain bad. The single star is for the hostess, who was friendly.

Cafe Beau Soleil reminds me of a petit cafe in Provence. The ambiance, especially of the outdoor seating area, was quite enjoyable and relaxing. The menu had a nice variety of meals at a reasonable price. Three of us ate lunch at the cafe, each of us ordering something different; all meals were delicious! This is a cafe/restaurant to which we will return and then dream about going to France.

Stay Away from this place! Tried on first day of 2017. Waited for long time for the pesto pasta for $16, it is just dice of tomatoes, bit of spinach and very small amount of pasta in pesto sauce which was not even pesto sauce. Also Turkey burger was hard and no taste turkey patty with a bit of salad also for $16. The water is bad too. Ripoff big time!!!

Fantastic spot for a delightful patio dinner! Wonderful wine list, phenomenal food, perfect ambience! Excellent service, which has been difficult to find in this area. Best crepes weve ever had! Such a treasure to find tucked away in Fashion Island!

Without question in the top restaurants of fashion island, the food quality is great and the service/ overall vibe of the restaurant is different than the standard fig&olive or chain place. Definitely a place to eat if youve never been before!

Best kept secret in fashion island. Real chef who cares about the food, and actual French folks work here. Its the only place in fashion island my friends and I actually go to. Great patio to people watch while you are enjoying a meal.
