Fratis could quite possibly have the BEST tasting Gelato in the world! Its definitely the best ive ever had. Never been a Big Ice Cream fan, then i tried Fratis Gelato, learned the difference...and i was changed FOREVER. They are MASTER Gelato makers! I cant even eat ice cream the same anymore, Fratis gelato is so much better. The smorgasboard of flavors he concocts are AMAZING, they can make anything into gelato! Their signature is the Frate, a mascaropone cream that tastes like a dream...Nutella, Macadamia Nut Cookie, Caffe(coffee), Peach Mango sorbet along with MANY OTHERS, and plenty of exotic flavors that light up your taste buds like nothing youve ever tasted. This place is a must if your a foodie, ice cream/gelato fan or just need some place to eat. The staff is super friendly, the food and sandwiches are amazing, and you will leave with an experience to remember.

Hurry up and go here! The gelato and sorbetto here are as close to Italy as I have had. Really nice people! We walk here almost every night and on the way home argue you got the best flavor. My fav is the strawberry sorbetto and the frutti di bossco. They make 20 fresh flavors everyday and you can get samples before you decide, and believe me it will be a tough decision. I usually get 1/2 and 1/2 as there is not way to decide on just one. They also have sandwiches (panni) which look very good, but I have not tried them. This is exactly what downtown Fullerton needed!

Not the best latte in the world, but definitely the best customer service by far. I was somewhat disappointed that they didnt have pistachio gelato, but I decided to get the warm polenta cake with lemon gelato. The owner (or who I assumed was the owner) recommended the lemon gelato pairing. I was not disappointed. It was a great pairing for a summer day. Melts in your mouth - literally and figuratively. I definitely have to come back.

I decided to give a try today after reading some of the reviews. I have to agree with those reviews because I had a good experience eating there. Great Italian gelato, panini was tasty & fresh w/ good quality ham, the espresso was just like those you can find in Italy, the staff was very helpful & friendly

We stopped by before an 8 PM ghost walk. The affogato I had (with the pure hazelnut gelato) was great. Her chai latte was almost syrupy sweet, almost like it was made with condensed milk. Also, while superbly clear, there was something a little creepy about the long hallway back to the restrooms.

The lady that attended me was very nice and explained everything to me in the menu. The sandwiches are really good! But the side salads even though they dont give you so much as I liked there are still amazing is amazing! Plus the view they have is wonderful Highly recommend it!

Make sure to get the raspberry-lemon gelato or youll regret it! Nah, everything else is pretty good. But thats what I had and my whole family got other things, and ended up being jealous of how refreshing mine was. It was perfect for a hot summer afternoon, so refreshing~

While the gelato is primo....the hidden secret of Frati is the amazing savory food. The Daily pasta plates are always delicious. in winter the bruschetta...especially the lamb is epic. Even the sandwiches are much more delicious than the standard!

Only place in the US I have seen the gelato flavors I found in Italy. The panini are also excellent with very good proscutto shaved in-house. Also the Espresso made with Salerno beans and roasted in-house was italian style and excellent.

Decent gelato but felt expensive for the portion size. There were some unique flavors to sample but lacked some traditional flavors it seemed as a result. Convenient location surrounded by numerous eateries. Very friendly staff

Great view and great gelato and sandwiches at a decent price. They also have hummingbird feeders in several locations outside so you may have an adorable hummingbird visitor while you eat.
