Great food. Great service. This is a nice, quiet, vegetarian restaurant with very well prepared Indian food. You wont miss the meat. My girlfriend shared the Paneer Tikka Masala and Dal Makhni with me. They were both excellent and the Naan bread and Somosas were among the best I have ever eaten. The Somosas are 75 cents! You cant get a better deal than that anywhere. The portions are generous. You get rice and several other small courses of tasty items with each entree. Go, eat there, I dont want them to ever go away! As stated, the decor is plain if you choose to eat there, but the food more than makes up for the humble decor.

This review is based on dining in and take-out, about a dozen times - Clean, uncluttered, but no-frills atmosphere - Quick, friendly service - Vaishnu focuses on whats most important: the food. - Reasonably priced, good-sized portions. Samosas (large!) at 0.75 are a great deal - Favorites: Mix Vegi Pakoras, Samosa, Samosa Chaat (yumm!!), Chana Masala, Chana Saag Not a place for a first date, but definitely a place if you want to fill up on some delicious, well-seasoned food.

I rarely give any place five stars, but this place is exemplary for providing nutritious, sattvic, vegetarian food at a low cost. I have rarely been to a restaurant where you can get full for less than 10 dollars, that is considered cheap in the United States. Yet here you can get full on one of their specials for 4 or 5 dollars. These people are definitely not greedy and are providing a great service to the community! If only there were more people like them. Namaste.

A friend and I had lunch here today and were pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem in Vallejo. (We also spent 30 minutes wandering around Bazaar market in the same mall. Great little indian grocery with wide selection and good prices.) The atmosphere is very simple but dont let that keep you from trying the food. The selection was good, portions were large and the food was fresh and very tasty. Very authentic.

Fast, cheap, good! Were always on the look out for good food in Vallejo, this ranks as one of our few go-to places. The fact that its so reasonably priced is a bonus! Its advertised as fast food, as such theres not much atmosphere, we usually do take-out. Be warned, there is not much of a sign out front, its near the subway, behind Popeyes.

This is a favorite of my family, for take out. We call and its literally ready in less than the 10 min it takes us to drive there. It is family owned, simple, inexpensive, fresh and delicious food. I get out of there with dinner for 3, for less than $20. Cant beat that!! Cash only for orders below $10. Some tables for dining in.

This place is the best! Nice hidden gem in Vallejo. Ive tryed just about everything and its was all good!!! I go every weekend just to get the Dosa. The food here taste so good it has helped me transition over to eating more vegetarian meals. This is a must go to spot. Local Hip Hop producer/artist Indecent the Slapmaster

Cheap and delicious. Note that they serve a vegetarian only menu. Dont show up here looking here looking for chicken tikka masala or lamb vindaloo. Aint gonna happen. Super tasty aloo paratha and samosas are an excellent choice . $5 lunch is hard to come by these days but they make it happen here.

We went to Six Flags and looked for Vegetarian Indian restaurants near by and found Vaishnu. I like the Samosa, Aloo Paratha , Veg Biriyani, Lassi, and Rotis to take home. I would love to come here any time.. For sure, this one is better than any other restaurants in east bay for vegetarians.

On the positive side, they have great prices. The flavor of the food was just ok, definitely not as good as Ive had in other Indian restaurants. But the worst offense, they served it in stirofoam bowls for eat-in service...stirofoam! Its tacky and the worst choice for the environment.

We had a pleasure to have lunch in this place during our last summer California trip. This place is great. Excellent food for very reasonable price. Its very similar to Chicagos Standard India Restaurant. I wish we have more places like this in Chicago. We will come back next year.

The best place to get Samosas and other Indian food. They make it so tasty. I go here everytime I am in town, which is every week. They make everything perfectly, not to spicy for all you who hate it spicy. I would recommed stopping here before you go to any other place.

Ive been going here regularly for over a year now. This is my go to place for dinner, the food is light in comparison to other Indian food and the price is legitimately half the price. Did I mention that I love love the food? Keep up amazing work!

The samosas tasted very bad and the smell was horrible. The samosas also looked old and we have experienced this many times. We had a party and all the guests just threw them away and at another party we went to, the same thing happened to them.

The mango lasses was delicious. The sauces for the samosas were very good. I would definitely go back to try more of the vegan menu.

Very good flavors. The veggie korma, saag paneer, and samosas are excellent. Wish the veggie korma had more paneer.
