Quirky restaurant with very friendly staff and good food. The potstickers were great as was the crispy calamari that came with 5 sauces. The New York steak had great flavor and with the optional au gratin potatoes was very nice. The prime rib was tender and the horseradish sauce potent. Little more crust would have been better but it was still very tasty. The crem brulee was done right with a nice crisp sugar top. This restaurant is a converted house with limited seating and hours. That also have a somewhat limited menu but what they do have they do well. One person who could have been the owner or chef or both was very friendly singing happy birthday to a large group behind us and was very personable. A very family feeling experience we enjoyed!

My husband, 3 yr. old, and I love this restaurant!! The menu is wonderful, everything is good and reasonable priced. My favorite on the menu is the Sauteed Shrimp and for dessert the French Cream. I recommended this restaurant to all my friends and they all now love it as well. For all occasions this is the place to go, for a romantic dinner, casual dinner, small group, large group, anniversary parties, etc, they will make it a wonderful and delicious night. I would like to thank Raymond and Edmond for the excellent food, service, and treating us like family!! Pinole Creek is the best!!! :-)

The food is so delicious at this restaurant! This is a family owned place; the mom cooks in the kitchen, the dad builds relationships with the customers in the dining rooms, and the brothers help out as waiters when needed. We are loyal customers who drive all the way up from San Jose because of the entire culinary experience. Give this place a try sooner rather than later, you wont regret it!

The food is great! and the owners are fabulous. Always feeling very welcomed. I enjoy the atmosphere, owners and staff are great, patrons intermingle with each other. Its all good, I love the lamp chops and the homemade lemon sorbet is wonderful. Its all gooooooddd. Going tonight for my sons (in-law) birthday, and my in-laws 67th anniversary. :-) Special place, special people.

shockingly high quality food for the area. the price is really low for the quality. definitely the best food in this area. the menu is limited but everything we tried was excellent. cocktails came in generous portion with good amount of spirit. also, the family is so friendly and proud of their food. instant favorite!

My husband and I have dined at Pinole Creek Cafe many, many times including an event they catered. I have loved every appetizer, main course and desert I have ordered. Aside from the great food and wonderful service, I support this restaurant -because it is a locally owned restaurant run by a very hard working family.

When we walked in the door we were greeded with hugs from the sweetest man ever. The place is a little small but that only added to the charm for me. All the food was fantastic. I cant even talk it up enough.

Its just ok. The food is very uninspiring. No creativity at all. A tad loud and if you want to enjoy a quite dinner, you may have up specify it before hand. The owner actually is quite annoying.
