Came here because this was a local spot growing up. I got the french toast with strawberries (Special of the Day) and a side of eggs overmedium. -The eggs were good, I mean how could you go wrong? -Service was amazing, thats probably why this place didnt get a 2-star rating. -We didnt wait long to be seated, it was not busy. -Very clean establishment, I even saw a lady (owner?) mopping and sweeping throughout the area -The reason why this place does not get 4 stars or above is that the french toast tasted BASIC. The strawberries were not fresh and overlyglazed in whatever high fructose corn syrup sauce they use for it. I mean french toast isnt that difficult to make, or even spruce up, because Ive had some bomb ass french toast before at certain locations. Overall: If youre looking for a basic breakfast, super simple and nothing out of the ordinary. This is your spot. This is why it gets 3 stars. When Alley Cafe gets a WOW or AHA! factor to their meals Ill bump it up.

I love coming here for breakfast, great food and generous servings. They have seven tables and a counter with six stools. Their prices used to be extremely low, recently the prices were raised but still lower than Tinas Place (I hope that direct competition doesnt put The Alley out of business). Arrive early on a weekend for faster service; if you come around ten you could wait up to 45 minutes to get your food. However, the food quality is always excellent and worth any wait you experience. Use the time to chat with your table and down the free coffee refills.

I was very very afraid to come hear. I originally wanted to go to TINAs place but the line was so long we left frustrated. I quickly looked up the area for other choices and got this place. The food was delicious and cooked exactly like I wanted it. My wife was impressed as well. It was prepared timely as well which is a big issue with us. I did finally get a chance to go to TINAs to compare. Lets just say, if Im in the area again, it will be ALLEY CAFE all day!

I with my two daughters. All three of our plates looked very nice but there was something wrong with each meal. And the sever dismissed my complaint that there was egg shells in my eggs. She said "yea well they crack the eggs right there" and no face to face contact. She was looking else where when talking with us. And no it was not busy. Only one other table and they already had there food when we Walken in.

My husband, Windell & I really enjoy breakfast at The Alley Cafe. The food is really good with large portions. You have to tell the Wait Person you want a half order of hash browns; otherwise, you get a full order. It takes a bit when youre hungry. Sit back, relax, enjoy your coffee with your breakfast partner. Breakfast will be worth every mouthful.

Would recomend! Great food.. pretty fast.. apparently its under new ownership. Portions are smaller but the service is quicker. I ordered the "Giant" but couldnt eat all of it anyway.. I couldnt imagine larger portions. Only reason 4 star is because I dont like my scrabble eggs runny and they were..

Small cafe, takes a long time to get your food, but worth it. Very large portions, great food, and decently priced. Wouldnt suggest if your ready to eat right away,.with a wait time of atleast 30 minutes. The service leaves mich to be desired, but its ok for a once in awhile sunday breakfast

Breakfasts are VERY good (my fave is the Italian Sausage Omelette). The egg dishes come with a generous portion of hash browns. Yum! Service is pleasant, but can be slow, so give yourself plenty of time. If youre in rush, come back when youre not in a hurry.

This cafe has to be one of the best places Ive ever eaten. not only was the food amazing but the people were hands down the nicest warm folks you could meet. Be prepared and bring your big boy pants if you plan on eating an omelet lol :)

Eggs Benedict: Hollandaise sauce broke, the ham was too thick, (more salty yhan most ham Ivery had before), and the English muffin was limp and soggy with butter. Also the hash browns, (ordered crunchy came burned) Not worth it.

Suuuuper slow. Food was just ok. Took an hour and a half. Will not be going back. Wait staff was slow, and not helping the cook at all. I would not recommend this Cafe to anyone.

Extremely slow service, especially for mid morning Tuesday. We sat down right away, but it took forever just to get coffee and orange juice. Food was okay but not worth the wait.

Family owned & operated. The food isnt sitting around waiting for you so understand it will take time to prepare. A great place to get to know your breakfast date.
