TL;DR - Passive aggressive staff that doesnt communicate. Mediocre pizza. 20% penalty for staying past close. Came in around 8 on a weeknight. John was our server. Service started out decent enough, but was slow. Got done with salads and pizza and since they took so long it was around closing time when we ordered some frozen yogurt. We werent told that they had to spin back up the machine to make it, but we quickly found out when they started making passive aggressive remarks about us. From that point on they made it a point to keep us longer. One of our friends waited an extra 15 minutes after they served desserts to everyone else. From there they passed our table time and time again while our credit cards sat ready to go in the check book. Here is the best part. One of us accidentally asked for the check before some of us ordered desert. No gratuity added. Fast forward 45 minutes to when we get our final check, 20% GRATUITY ADDED. Note to management- teach your staff how to communicate! If you had told us that it would be 30 minutes to get a frozen yogurt we would understand and get desert elsewhere. We dont want to be there 45 minutes extra as much as you dont. We never got so much as an apology or explanation for keeping us so long so I have no remorse in leaving you a 1 star review.

Azzurro is a quaint eatery with a local vibe. The food was fantastic and everything we ate was off the menu specials. The chef knows how to pair unique flavors and all of the ingredients were very fresh and ripe. The pizza is basically wood fired without the smokey flavor. The crust is fantastic and the portion was ample for my wife and I to share. They had a nice wine list and none of the bottles were overpriced. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality Italian dish in a nice cozy low key establishment.

We came here for lunch and were very happy with the pizza! Closest thing to NY pizza. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, prompt service, and fresh ingredients. Had the heirloom tomato salad, mushroom cheese with basil pizza, and the sausage, tomato, cheese pizza. We were not disappointed and left happy :)

This place rushes you out. Hardly finished my first glass of wine before they asked me to wrap the leftovers. Food was pretty great, but cant stand when 3 different people, including the manager are pushy to wrap up my paided dinner experience.

This was really the best pizza Ive ever had in the US since were living here. The staff was super friendly and quick and the wine recommendation to my salumi pizza was perfect (it was a malbec)! A very cute place to have a great dinner!!!

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I really enjoyed it. The place is spotless, service was prompt, good wine list and a nice selection of pizzas. Thin crust, enough topping, but not too much. Ill be back.

Excellent wood fired pizzas. This downtown restaurant is a little off the typical tourist route and is a locals favorite. They also have a pretty impressive bear and wine list.
