The food here is so wonderful! A close friend just moved to Orinda and had taken me here as a place to eat before I go to the airport. I havent had Vietnamese food this good since I was in high school. ( A good friend of mine was Vietnamese and when I was invited to eat over, I got to cook with her sisters in the kitchen and loved it!). The ingredients are so fresh and flavorful, and the staff were friendly. If the owner taught cooking classes I would totally sign up. It makes me sad not to live in San Francisco, I live in New York so I personally feel thats saying a lot. I have never run into Vietnamese food this good in New York. - So jealous!!! About the Decor - I rated it excellent, but from a mom and pop shop perspective. Its not glamorous. Its welcoming, homey, thoughtful (love that they have the chopsticks on the table) and the warmth just comes out via the service and the pride really shines through the food. Definitely a place to try :) I miss it already!!!

Im giving this place 5 stars because the food is very good. I work in the same center and I eat here at least 1-2 times a week as do several of my coworkers. The nice thing is we never get tired of it! We all love the chicken Pho and some of us go for the organic chicken. I also like the spicy beef noodle soup and the clay pot. I am not celiacs but Im gluten sensitive (so I can get a little soy sauce without issues) and I love that I can eat here and not worry about it. It is, like most places in Moraga, very small and a "mom and pop" business. Seating is limited but on nice days they have a couple of tables outside. The Owner/Chef is really nice and always takes good care of us. If you want authentic Pho with a superb taste this is your place!

Great tasting pho. Beef and chicken. Not any trace of msg. Really tastes like homemade. And we ordered the bun cha too. It was fresh and good. Only thing. They. Need to clean the sriacha. Bottles and maybe a radio, to drown out the silence. But soild option for pho in Moraga

I dont know who these people are rating this place poorly, but Ive had nothing but excellent food and outstanding service every time Ive eaten here. It is truly a staple of Moraga, and I hope it never closes.

Its far from fancy, but the pho and salmon fried rice were great choice for rainy days. Youll get a big piece of salmon on top of rice. To get rid of fat from soup, I put ice cubes on top...

Flavorful beef pho hit the spot this cool October afternoon. Proprietor is friendly, accommodations are so so, but hey, this is Moraga. I will be back for the great food and the value.

Nice pho and liked the spicy basil chicken. Place is very small and the decor is very utilitarian, but the people running the place are nice which makes up for lack of decor.
