Absolutely love this place! 1. Amazing menu options, everything from Sizzling Rice Soup to Rainbow Duck. 2. Customer Service is wonderful! Whenever myself or my husband calls in to order the person on the other line is kind, patient, willing to explain the menu options and is very articulate. 3. Delivery service is great! We recently moved out to Seaside, CA so we have to drive in to town to pick up our order but it is well worth it. 4. THE FOOD: -Soups: super flavorful, packed to the max with all the goodies that go into that particular soup and always super hot. Even after a 20 min drive the soup is awesomely hot. -Beef, Chicken, Duck, Seafood, and Vegetable dishes could not be better. They are perfect! Great quality. Each dish is handled with care, perfectly cook, seasoned and always nice and hot! -Noodles or Rice: In love with their chow mien! Noodles cooked to perfection and well seasoned! The rice is an awesome way to go as well. So many options with both noodles and rice. I have not tried them all but from what I have had, it hits the spot every time. -Appetizers: I love all the apps here but you get SO much food with your orders that you may want to hold on the apps or just order apps and that is all. These are what I have experienced with this restaurant and I fully enjoyed every last morsel. Do not waste your time deciding, just go or call to order. Their website is great, could use some sprucing up. Be original, come up with your OWN personal experiences. I have traveled to many places, have eaten many types of food and have reviewed over 100 restaurants and my review stands firm with Great Wall Chinese Restaurant. (no I did not get paid or compensated for writing this). IF you want to order the Peking Duck, you must give them 24 hour notice, this was probably my only negative experience.

The food is good, however, the delivery customer service is extremely poor. I forgot the name of the young man who answers the phone, but he has extremely poor etiquette and lacks attention to detail. The last time I ordered from this restaurant, my card was almost double charged, I did not receive the food I had ordered nor the all of the food that was a part of the meal that had been correctly ordered. Even after the man knew he had made a mistake, he was still going to charge me for receiving the food I had already paid for. After 5 minutes of "uh, Ill ask" and "um I dont know" he finally agreed to have the food I had purchased sent out to me again. Those problems aside, the food did not come in a timely manner at all. The customer service was extremely poor and Ill never eat there again. I only hope the owners of the store find a better cashier.

I was not impressed. I ordered the orange chicken and an order of crab rangoons. The crab rangoon was not very good. To top it off, they dont include rice with the order unless you specifically order it. Unforunately, I didnt realize this until I got home. To cover their ass, their menue does say "does not include steamed rice" under the meats section. I just wish the person on the phone would have questioned why I didnt want any rice when I placed the order. Do yourself a favor and stick to Jims Chinese In Seaside. Food quality and service is much better.

Were from southern California and it was our first time eating here. We ordered the two person dinner option and it was served with our choice of soup(we chose wonton) and appetizer(prawns and egg rolls) and our choice of rice(shrimp fried $3 extra) and entree(orange chicken and broccoli and beef). The food was delicious and tge service was friendly and timely. They also turned the train on for my husband. The train runs along a track that is built along a soffit on the wall. Nice place

We ordered delivery from this place and let me tell you... I doubt were going to find better. We ordered Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Chicken. Both were excellent and we cant wait until its Chinese food night again! We may visit the restaurant in the future just to check it out. Maybe not. Either way, their food is darn good! And a little on the pricey side. Recommended!

Everything was wonderful. We ordered the great wall dinner with mongolian beef, walnut chicken and the peking spare rib. The food was amazing and the service was superb. Wish I had a place like this back home. Top notch. I would also recommend the fried banana ice cream with green tea. What a great way to end our dinner.

I judge good Chinese food by two things. 1. Hot and Sour Soup 2. Quality of veggies and seafood. Their soup was great. Tasted like it might be a family recipe. The veggies were very freah and had been hand cut. The shrimp was very good not strong tasting, very sweet. The service was really nice and friendly.

Its my favorite Chinese restaurant on the Monterey Peninsula. It is a little pricey but I think Im getting value for the price. It doesnt compare to the best in D.C. or S.F., but its the best here. My favorite two dishes: War won ton soup and salt-and-pepper shrimp.

Visited the restaurant last Sunday. Food isnt exceptional just ok. But prices were really amazing. $9.25 for a simple dish of boiled vegetables. $1.50/person for boiled rice. I wouldnt recommend anyone to dine there since there are so many much better choices.

非常好的广东口味,推荐清蒸鱼片,四季豆炒肉丝,粉丝豆腐煲,椒盐排骨。上菜也非常快,价格也不贵!

Came in and the place was empty. We had second thoughts but being a sezhuan style I just had to try the Mongolian beef. As the food came so did other people. The Mongolian beef was one of the the best Ive had. Ill definitely go back to this place!

Won ton soup is the only thing that I would order from them again. The rest is bland and overcooked. The chow main and beef and broccoli was soggy and in need of some seasoning. Wasnt inedible I just have had much better.

A classic American-Chinese type of restaurant. All the usual dishes, well made. (The electric train that runs around the edge of the ceiling is left over from when the location was Swensens, an ice cream parlor.)

Delivery service isnt that great. The waiter was rude and the food took an hour and a half + to get here. Good food, so probably a place go to rather than order from, though Ive never been there.

Hot & Sour soup was barely passable. Shrimp chow mein and chicken fried rice both very poor. Service was good but food wasnt. Solo diner left 40 bucks lighter and feeling slightly sick.

Its what you would expect from Americanized Chinese food...lots of fried everything but the veggies are quite fresh. The service staff is friendly and they have a broad selection.
