The price of each plate was way over priced for the amount food they served.. Our food was cold when we got it.. When we didnt leave a tip we where chased down by two men saying we didnt pay our tip!! I thought this was crazy!!... After I told the guy tip is not mandatory, he very rudely replied with "well we dont have to serve you...Our check was $35 for something that was not worth it!! I will never come here again!! Honestly killed my Monterey experience!!! Go anywhere els when in Monterey!! Their service sucks!!!

我发现，想吃正宗地道的中餐，就不能仅看google上的评分！明明很地道的川菜，只有区区3.7分！多次吃过各类所谓的chinese food之后，四分以上的中餐，一般不去，因为高评分大多是美国佬评价的，一定不合乎中国人的口味。

We originally were going to go to a different place to eat and sadly we did not have a reservation. So we saw this cute place and decided to go in. We ended up going in and ordered chow mien, spicy eggplant, orange chicken and fried duck, it was the best Chinese Food we have ever had! It did get loud because of another customer but the staff was diligent on having him quiet down! THANK YOU!!!! My wife and I were on mini vacation from our five children. Great Food, Intimate, and just perfect!!!!

The little old lady makes the experience completely. I was so intent on hearing her sweet comments every time she passed the table, that I dont even remember eating my meal, or what I ordered in the first place. My advice to you is to go order several consecutive bowls of basic white rice, just so you can stay long enough to enjoy the presence of the paralyzingly cute chinese grandma who exclaims "dinna time!" when she approaches with your meal. Two thumbs up!!

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the world. I lived in Monterey from 2005 to 2007, and ate here almost weekly. Service was always good, and the food was spectactular. I went back and visited in 2010, and the owners still remembered my name, as well as my favorite dish: the mongolian beef with a side of spicy mustards sauce. I also like the kung pao chicken and the egg drop soup. If you like Chinese food, youll love Full Moon.

Seeing some good reviews I just wonder if customers are bribed or if weve been extremely unlucky that night and ordered the wrong dishes. We had two "family dinner" and more than a week after this bad experience I still dont know what kind of plastic was the chicken made of. Probably the worst Chinese restaurant Ive visited in many years. I paid 40 dollars for 2 pax and 2 teas, and my purse is still yelling. A place TO AVOID!

The food is great, but the service is not so good. They take care of phone orders first and let you wait once finished (instead of saying to the caller "can you hold on please"). The prices are standard, but the food portions are smaller comparing with other restaurants, so if you plan for take home dont count on it :). But again, the food tastes great despite the fact that the cooks are not Chinese.

The food is excellent and our friends and relatives from China are always glad to visit the lovely women that run the restaurant for their warm hospitality and wonderful food. It took only 2 visits from us for the staff to learn our names and now always greet us when we enter.

I placed a to go order of fried rice, beef and broccoli and pot stickers. You think the portion size for the price would be exceptable for two. I was wrong. I feel theirs better restaurants similar to this. Not a bad experience here but feel as I didnt get my moneys worth and it wont be my first option for food choice.

I think many who gave this place more than one star rating must be friends or relatives of the owners. Servers have no clue on customer service, food was what you could get at a fast food restaurant at a food court of a mall. I dont understand how restaurants like this make it.

If you enter this restaurant hungry, you will walk out hungry. They do not give you a reasonable amount of food for the price they charge. The beef dishes are not too good, it sort of has a weird smell. They give you plenty of soup. That is all I can say.

Nice food nice place, I would raster it better than the normal taker out place but not as good as some I have had on the East coast. They get 4 stars just for having my favorite type of chow mein though, recommend the Hong Kong chow mein to all.

Its a small place, its a bit dingy, and service wasnt the best (busy Saturday night), but the food made up for it. Arguably the best Chinese food Ive ever had. Our tables personal favorite was the wonton soup. The people were great as well.

Moved from Monterey to CLE, and boy do I miss this place. Not only is the fare amazing and affordable, but youll also likely never meet a friendlier staff. Were heading back to visit during car week, and I cant wait to stop in for a bite.

Worst place ever over priced n 30% gratuity really for your lack of service. If you want to be treaded like youre invisible n get overcharged for food this is the place to go to. 8 pieces of salt baked pork chops really never again

It was the first time I have been to this restaurant, and I had the orange peel chicken. It was really wonderful, but the service was even better. So friendly and nice. Will definitely recommend it and go back to try something else!

Its a good place to eat if your at Monterey bay. Food was great. Taste good with lots of selection. I will recommend this place for my friends. Price are not bad.
