I couldnt wait to try this place! Even though there was a long waiting list, we were in within 10 minutes (party of 2). Service was perfect. Coffee served right away. I asked if we could order a cinnamon roll, but wanted it to go after our meal. Our waitress said, "were running low, only a few left, let me go grab one for you right now." She did just that. Wrapped tight and ready for later. The food was AMAZING! I had the Eggs Benedict with bacon and grilled tomatoes, with potatoes. My daughter had the artichoke heart Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise was perfect, slightly tart from the lemon. The English muffins are house made.....I can hardly wait to go back! :)

Wow! One of the best omelettes (mushrooms, spinach and swiss) I have ever had! Service was friendly, prompt and clearly very experienced. I was there with a large group of people -- waitress was totally on top of our orders, got the right food to the right people, and didnt bat an eye at our request for individual checks. The prices for breakfast are totally spot-on (~$11.00 for an enormous omelette, potatoes and toast)! I recommend ordering the country-style potatoes with your breakfast, they are perfect! Also, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the cafes CINNAMON ROLL -- it is LIFE-ALTERING!!! I will definitely return!

This is my favorite breakfast restaurant in-and-around Los Gatos. First, the food is always excellent and the service great. Secondly, its easy to get to, parking is easy, and you avoid the worst of the high school traffic. I know many people love their cinnamon rolls or omelettes or French toast. Me? I always get their corned beef hash with poached eggs. Oh, right, thats the other thing -- their staff doesnt give you grief if you order poached eggs. No sighing or eye rolling. Any negatives? -- the wait to get in on weekends.

I had the eggs benedict for $9.95. It came with homemade herb potatoes, and it was delicious! After I licked the plate clean, I wanted something sweet, so I tried the raspberry coffee cake. Yum. Several things impressed me about the Cafe: service was fast & friendly; the food was great (I heard others talking about their dishes); and the prices are very reasonable. All of the omelettes are under $10, except the fajita, and just about everything else is under $10 too! My only complaint is theyre only open for breakfast and lunch!

Love, love, love this place! Been eating brunch here just about every weekend since they opened. LOVE the staff and the food has never been anything less than great. Specials every day and they come up with some pretty creative ideas - grilled cheese Benedict, Monte Cristo crepes (filled with scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, raspberry jam, etc), Peanut Butter & jelly French toast and then of course all the traditional favorites, including egg white omelettes and other healthy options. Always super busy so patience is a virtue

Love the food here! Lots of menu options for breakfast and lunch. My favorite is the Benedict Super accompanied by their special potatoes. The pancakes are the best Ive ever had. Due to its popularity, this place is always busy, even on the weekdays. If you have to wait for a table, there are many outdoor benches in the shade. The venue is pretty noisy with the chatter of many voices, so this isnt your quiet refuge. Fortunately, it resides in a small shopping center, so a nearby parking place is most often available.

9/14/2014- Came here for Sunday breakfast and the place was packed! The waiter was relatively nice and seated two of us at the bar. We ordered orange juice, steak/potatoes/fried eggs and sausage/grits/eggs. Both entrees were delicious! It was actually my first time trying grits, I actually did not know what to expect at all. To me, it kind of tastes like congee (rice porridge). Overall the waitress was relatively nice. One drawback is you need to wait to pay at the counter. I would definitely come back here again.

Very crowded on a Friday morning. Took away from the experience because of how popular this restaurant is. However, once you are seated, it is worth the wait. This place probably has one of the best breakfast menus around including Eggs Benedict, and French Toast. Price is good for the quality of food and service. I would definitely go there again. Tip: if its too crowded at LGCU, try across the street. I hear the food over there is good too but they only accept cash. Its a gamble. :)

Best service ever!!! Little teenager behind the counter was always smiling!! We placed an order to go while the cafe was slammed and the service was soooooo quick. I was highly impressed with the work ethic of the boy. He was always finding something to do to keep everything flowing well. I see a great future for him!!! Id work beside him anyday!!! Keep up the good work staff! Ill defiently make the drive to come back.

Horrible service. Waitress #16, completely ignored my wife and I. Took the order of the people next to us, despite us being there about 10 minutes earlier, then had the audacity to look right at us, and go to another table of people that arrived after us. Then when she did help us, she made no attempt to be polite, courteous, or even to try and talk more than the basic questions. I will NEVER eat here again.

My kinda jam for breakfast! Friendly, warm, attentive service...even between the staff - lots of "thank yous" and "my dears" even when busy bespeaks a great environment. I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce and home fries had an Italian seasoning kick that I enjoyed. I dont think Id change a thing about this place. Los Gatos Cafe Uptown is just great!

I think it is much better than the Iron Skillet. Especially their home fries! The best I have ever had. Iron Skillet went steadily down hill over the years and it is obvious why they didnt make it. The service and the food were mediocre. Los Gatos Cafe if much much better food and service and improved atmosphere. Also much better than Cup and Saucer.

Everything here is delicious! Herbed potatoes, hollandaise, bakery items, benedicts, scrambles. Dont be turned away by the large crowds. Were arrived with 10 tables ahead of us and the service is so efficient that the wait was only 20-25 minutes for 2 of us. This location also takes card unlike the original one. (Unless they do now)

This is one of my favorite breakfast and brunch spots in the Bay Area. The food is always good, portions big, and service friendly. However, expect a line during the weekends. No outdoor seating, but parking is never a problem. Reservations not accepted.

I love this place! A huge menu ranging from extremely healthy options to fried and sugary things so able to satisfy any craving. Service was good, there was free coffee while you waited (theres almost always a line mornings) and overall good experience.

Absolutely good service and experience! We came on December 26, the place were super full of costumers and still quality and attention were not compromised. Food is delicious! Plates a little bit oversized for my traste but I absolutely recommend it!
