Could use better staff that doesnt have a attitude & at least know what theyre doing for take out orders. & the manager Sergio could be somewhat nicer. Ended up waiting 10-15 extra mins(until having to say something) just because take out forgot about a order intead of being humble about it she got a nasty attitude & started off by making up excuses & even started to make threats when she came back with the order & so I just started to walk out & she got offended so she kept saying trashy things as if it was going to make things better by that time she was just ignored as i already gotten the order & was out the door. If it wasnt for your staffs trashy attitude this wouldnt have been a issue. Shove your nasty threats and work outside the hospitality industry if it doesnt fit your attitude. The food & atmosphere is great. Sad that that i had to write this all because of a single staff member but its well earned.

This place isnt consistent. Sometimes the food is great. Other times its neglected rushed. They have a wonderful menu, and Ive been here a lot. But what really turned me off was when the manager chased us all the way to the car asking if "there was anything wrong with the service?" Because we didnt tip enough i guess?. We were really weirded out. Another time and the last time Ive been here was when i got my food, i used the spoon given to me and it tasted like bleach. I couldnt even enjoy my food because of that first taste of bleach. I went to the manager and he just hand me another spoon in an annoyed manner. I was so disappointed because i didnt want any hand outs, I just wanted an explanation. If this restaurant had different management it would probably be 4 stars. Because otherwise its not even worth it.

Love this place for a late night snack or early breakfast almost 24/7. Its always busy regardless of what time you go.The food is hot and well prepared with surprisingly many vegan and vegetarian choices.....of course, a lot more great choices for carnivores. My favorites are the Falafel plate, Vegan burger and vegan cheesecakes. The cheesecake comes in 3 flavors and is addictive. On top of that, the service is fast and the servers are the nicest and most attentive I have seen in the area. The coffee quality is acceptable, but maybe their specialty coffees are better. The decor is basically that of a coffee shop from the 60s. I would love to see a remodeling - even with the same theme.

I went for a late breakfast. Food was great all around. 4 Star food. The avocado toast was as good as I make at home - and I think I make the best avocado toast. :) pretty delicious food. Unfortunately, the service was very lacking. And thats putting it nicely. Maybe one person by themselves doesnt look like its going to be a good tip, so to heck with good service? But the fact is, I tip very well when the service is good. Unfortunately, I had to do something rare - which was tip poorly. Also, there were some real creeps at the restaurant, drunk and totally obnoxious. The staff just ignored it even though it was loud and sometimes obscene. Oh. And this was before noon!

This is my favorite when Im in the mood for diner food and catching up with friends. The food is all healthy and fresh. They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. Great prices too, surprisingly cheaper that your average inner city diner despite the quality. I love their tuna salad tossed with their house dressing, and the tuna melt w/ soy cheese or no cheese at all is fantastic. You can get any side from fries to steamed broccoli, which is awesome. The decor is a fun historical account of 60s and 70s rock-n-roll. Generally the wait staff are models or just have really cool style. Enjoy. Both locations are equally awesome, I wish they had one in the Valley.

I almost always have a great experience at Swingers, and since I live in the neighborhood, I go at least once a month. The huge menu has something from everyone, from carnivores to vegetarians to vegans. Open from 6 a.m. to 4 a.m., which means that the servers often deal with drunken party animals showing up at 2 a.m., bellowing their belligerent demands. If you are polite and friendly, you will receive the same from the servers; if you fell that the service is lacking, ask yourself if your own behavior is eliciting such a response. Awesome jukebox selection, indoor and outdoor seating, and free parking.

Go somewhere else. The food was terribly bland and atmosphere is sub-par and the service is TERRIBLE! We were sat at the table for 20 mins before anyone greeted us at all. 40 mins in we finally get waters BUT even then they brought us two glasses even though there were three of us at the table. Asked for a third glass. Didnt come. Asked again ...Didnt come. Finally the food came and it was ice cold. Water still hasnt come. The only reason to come to this place is if you ABSOLUTELY have no desire for good service, good food or any quality experience at all. No thanks.

Definitely a hit or miss in the food department..... when this place first opened, the food was always deelish and large portions, but the last three times I was there, it was an absolute failure and major disappointment!!! The veggie nachos use to be dream-worthy, no skimping on tons of fresh avocado, piles of gooey cheese and extra crispy blue tortilla chips and we could not get enough!!! Now...... extra soggy chips, bland salsa, cheese-less and "What?" avocado. Even at late night bites after a show or party, I avoid altogether.....

Service terrible. Food subpar. They gave my vegan buddy a soup with meat in it after he ordered saying twice that hes vegan and no animal products to leave the cheese off the sandwich etc, made it a really negative dining experience with the dude freaking out that he "feels like he just got raped" with meat, and "can feel the meat juices left over in his mouth". He said he hadnt accidentally eaten meat in 10 years. All bad. The steak i ordered was overcooked

I dont know if my expectations were too high from all the rave I heard about this place but I just was not the biggest fan. The service was super slow and restaurant was only a quarter filled. The food in my eyes fell flat, the Mac and cheese did not deliver, our nachos were just nachos very skimpy on the toppings. My grilled cheese was very good but very heavy. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe of the place but our service and food just didnt match up.

A too cool hang out for people who arent cool at all. It reeks of "Im trying too much to pretend like Im smart and i matter to cover up the fact that Ill probably die without every making a difference." - quoted from someone else on here, and its TRUE.... and the waitresses are lazy stuck up wannabes. the food is ALRIGHT but mostly mediocre....HORRIBLE service...the bus boys are the only people in there who actually work and are friendly.

I contracted a mild form of food poisoning after having a cobb salad at this place. Watch what you eat, if you choose to eat here. Get something thats cooked thoroughly, and nothing raw. Leave it to business owners to cut corners on staffing decent employees and sourcing materials. Thanks, swingers! Dont let me forget to vomit on your porch the next time I come by.
