We ordered the green chilaquiles with an egg omelette and first thing I notice was that the beans were spoiled when we told the waiter he said I told the cook they smelled bad....why would the cook still serve them uughg!!!! They got sent back we were offered potatoes as we are waiting we noticed something weird was on the eggs yupp to our shocking surprise it was a roach scrambled into the egg...so disgusted walked out that place Im never going back!!!!!

Absolutely huge menu to chose from. I work around the corner so it is a regular lunch place for us. The staff is friendly and always helpful. I suggest ordering the Cobb salad with chicken I stead of Turkey to get the freshest meat. Everything I have had is very good. I have not given a five star review yet, but The Happy Diner is as good as a diner gets.

The waitress was very nice, but the cook could not get any of the food out together. My daughter was done eating before anyone else got food. My husband and son got their food 5 minutes before me, and I only ordered a club. Another customer didnt receive his soup with his Sandwich, because it wasnt done.

Relatively easy to spot from the street. Good people, bad food. Attentive service. Dry cheese, old avocado, mushy home fries, greasy omelette, and below standard restaurant coffee. Homey feeling and convenient parking. Not for those who seek good, fresh eats. (See the photo)

We have breakfast from Happy Diner a couple of times each week. The service is fast and friendly. The food is fantastic. My wife loves the Downtown omelet. Me? I am working my way through the entire breakfast menu. If you like pastrami, you have to try the Superman omelet.

I thought the food was really good! Prices: pretty standard for Pedro. Service: great! Scenery: wait staff are pretty easy on the eyes! Parking: plentiful! Access: just follow Gaffey! I went at lunchtime. Mostly working class, casual diners.
