No parking, no sign (well, it has a sheet of paper with simple font taped to the window), and tiny. Those are minor inconveniences when you consider how good the food is and how much you get for what you pay. I took two of my friends here for breakfast after reading the great reviews and we werent disappointed. The fresh OJ (although it wasnt chilled), omelet, scramble, fries, and even grilled cheese were all good. I wouldnt say its worth waiting an hour, but if the wait is relatively short, stick around. Just keep your group small.

Snug indeed! This joint is very small, so dont bring a large group. The breakfast was delicious and the service was great. Try one of the specialty sausages with your eggs! The handwritten receipt really took me back to a simpler time, haha! Gonna be my go-to breakfast nook when Im in Santa Monica from now on. Gotta buy one of their cool shirts!

Loved it. Friendly attentive server even with her having to handle the whole place by herself. Flowing coffee big breakfast and cheap price all in all super tastey and left full. The back patio is its own secret garden very pleasant and nice for a morning date. Most certainly will be back so keep an eye out for me ;)

If you want a classic 1940s diner feel with amazing food, this is the place to go. You can grab a bite inside and feel like a navy officer in the 1950s by sitting at the counter with a hot cup of joe, or relax out on the tree lined back patio. One of the top breakfast spots in Santa Monica.

Good breakfast. Sitting out back in the early morning was very nice after a long walk. I had the eggs benedict which was nice, but the hollandaise sauce was a little heavy with orange. If you order a soda, expect it to come in a can, and no free refills.

Good food, fast, friendly service. Youll find plenty of diners along historic route 66 that have a shiny, red-and-white, retro look to convince you theyve been around since the 40s. Snug Harbor actually has, and theres nothing shiny about it.

Fantastic quaint diner. Delicious scrambles, dont miss the Sweet potato hash on the specials board! Also has a charming back patio. Not only some of the best breakfast food on the westside, but the fairest prices of them all.

Nice, casual place to eat for breakfast without pretenses. Relatively inexpensive prices (for the area), fast service, helpful wait staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. Food was average. Nice place to take kids.
