I personally wasnt terribly impressed with this place, but Im willing to give it another shot sometime and update my review. Its a pretty busy spot for breakfast and looks trendy enough, so theres that, its not a dump. (I dont mind dumps, but maybe you do?) Anyway, the food failed to really impress. I had their French Toast, which had really nice texture, but just seemed to fall short on the taste factor. I dont know, I just wasnt blown away. I had a keyboard and my friend a soy latte. He seemed to enjoy his, I thought my cappuccino was OK. I also had a strawberry banana smoothie. I liked it, but its hard to ruin a smoothie. I think the server might have been a little overwhelmed, it was pretty busy and there seemed to be only one of him. My friends food looked a little uninspiring to me, but they said they liked it. So. Im sure Ill be back and Ill update my review, but for now: meh.

HORRIBLE service, filled with lots of yuppie types, terrible food. After about an hour of waiting for our food we had to yell to get the waiters attention. We asked if our food was almost done and he said hed go check. He brought it out after I assume it was sitting out for an half hour or more. The burger I ordered was cold, mostly bread and came with these disgusting sweet potato fries and a "caesar salad" with no dressing. My girlfriend had cold over easy eggs, a side of sausage, she asked for wheat toast but got sourdough. Our friend had a garden burger scramble which was also cold. The waiter never asked me for a refill on my drink and a short lesbian woman wearing flannel hissed at me as she exited the bathroom and I entered. I would not eat hear if somebody paid me a large sum of money and it would cause my chickens to lay golden eggs.

Nice brunch spot with plenty of street parking. Came by at 10am and the cafe was already buzzing with activity. We were fortunate that a couple were leaving when we arrived, we were seated promptly after the table was cleaned. We ordered a French toast, latte, ice latte and a vegetable and daiya "mozzarella" omelette. The French toast was superb in every way. Texture was right and the strawberries were yummy. The omelette was disappointing though. It was rather tasteless, I had to lather on ketchup to help me eat them. The potatoes and toast on the side were good. Coffee is perhaps the key highlight for me. The best I had during my short weekend trip to LA. Overall a nice cafe to hang out for brunch.

Love this place! I used to Intern right next door, and this was my go to spot for coffee and food. I love their skinny iced vanilla latte. They have the best/stronges/fresh/coffee ever. Its definitely not for the non-coffee drinkers. Their coffee is no joke. French toast: Bomb Pizza (ive tried them all) : So BOMB Shrimp Salad with veggies: Warm and different, but still delicious My favorite little lunch spot. And if youre lucky, youll catch a lot of directors, bloggers and even celebrities. As for parking, theres 2-hr parking on the street, its LA so its not the best.

Im never in this part of co, but I was impressed with this semi-rural neighborhood. The soy cappuccino was delicious! Right amount of froth and silky smooth. I had the lox on wheat toast. It was topped with cream cheese, capers, red onion, and a generous amount of dill. Also very good. Cute little coffee shop with indoor, outdoor, and counter seating. They also serve beer and wine. Great place for some casual breakfast before heading over to the Irvine regional park to burn it off. Clean environment and friendly staff.

Upon entering we got sat quickly for two people and also got great service as well. I had the steak and eggs which I will be coming back for but my girlfriend got the huevos ranchos and we both enjoyed it but had a better version of it at Blu jam cafe. Coffee was outstanding for us both and had no complaints. Overall great place to eat and enjoy some coffe and food. We will be definitely returning!

This is a great place to people watch and get wired on coffee, it is in close proximity to some of the best furniture stores in the city and also CBS. Ive been coming here off and on for years abs its my favorite thing to do here. I would say the food is just okay, the breakfast burrito is the most depressing thing on the menu. The service is pretty stellar.

The Prosciutto & Mozzarella croissant will have you hooked from the first bite. Coffee is always delicious. If you have the time definitely check out their breakfast menu. My personal go-to is the burrito (and its big enough to share) TIP: Parking in the morning can be tricky. I usually opt to park on Beverly going East Bound across the street.

Excellent for breakfast. They execute traditional american breakfast dishes very well, and this place has some of the strongest coffee anywhere. The stuff is like Jet Fuel. I was jittery by they time I was halfway through my eggs! But it was good coffee, and I got through the rest of the day wide awake. Could use more places like this

Definitely a kings road! I seldom come here but every time I go here, it has never failed my taste buds yet. Not to mention their friendly service. I have never yet ordered the same since I first visited. And the last time I went here was already my tenth. wide range of good menu!

This is the best coffee Ive had in the entire country. They roast their own beans and use an espresso machine so that every cup has a fresh layer of foam on top. The food could be "Diner" style and quality - Id still give this place five stars because of the coffee.

Best breakfast burrito! The breakfast burrito is by far the best Ive ever had. I sub the cheese for goat cheese, hold the beans, extra sauce #heaven! The chicken enchilada is amazing as well! This place is a gem! You cant go wrong with anything on the menu!

Last weeks macchiato was divine and heavenly. This weeks macchiato was dull, and horrid to my palette. Food is low sodium, be prepared for that. (use hot sauce to alter food delishiously) espresso is very important to maintain guys.

GREAT breakfast! My favorite breakfast in LA. Love the coffee as well. This coffee is one of my top 3, the other two being Intelligentsia and Stumptown. Last time I went I got the breakfast quesadilla and it was out of this world.

Love this place. A neighborhood staple. The staff is always so friendly, fast and accomodating. The food is rad, I cant live without the breakfast burrito and their increible homemade salsa. The whole staff rocks at what they do!

Best coffee in LA. Roasted on the premises, served by the cup. Not for the meek. Gardenburger scramble or oatmeal are both great for breakfast, turkey burger or veggie burger for lunch. Worth waiting for every time.

They were so helpful in moving out party to tables that worked for us as our party kept unexpectedly growing. They have healthy options, delicious food and helpful attentive wait staff. Loved it!

If you feel like getting your elbows bumped while having breakfast and unable to hear your husband across the tiny round table then this is your place, is definitely NOT mine. Food was good.
