So I have dabbled with the idea of writing a review on these guys for as long as I have had a yelp account. You see its a very dangerous idea, one that can potentially have a massive irreversible impact, and so I admit I have been scared selfish! But I am having a change of heart, and I am sharing my little secret, maybe I will regret it later, but time will tell... and after all I do believe in karma so I am hoping this deed will not come back and bite me in the ass! Why it could happen in a number of ways you see, their sudden popularity could make them greedy and result in an exorbitant hike in prices, or they make so much money they decide to move to nicer digs, further away from me, OR the worst outcome would be, they get so slammed busy, that they lose the authenticity and love you taste in every exquisite morsel. OR the worst of it all, all of the above mentioned scenarios happen!! That to me is scarier than a horror movie. Ok ok , calm down Roshni...before I scare myself into deleting this, here it is: This is a hole in the wall, hidden (no more) gem. Their food is how real Mexican food is supposed to be, its no tex mex, no watered down ( or cheesed up, if I may say so) American-Mexican affair! The food is delicious and screams authenticity. Everything is great but their Cemitas and tortas ( sandwiches) in particular are to die for, delicious chicken or beef, piled high with fresh avocado, black bean spread, Mexican string cheese, roasted jalapenos, onions with hot and red sauces on the side are indeed from another world ( duh! mexico). My stomach is growling as I write this, and now I am going to cut it short make a quick torta run.

Las mejores cemitas...yo vivo en Anaheim y solo vengo aqui por que son Las mejores...vale la Pena...y Del precio es razonable por que La comida es Cara por e.j el quesillo y pan pero son bien servidas

The food was awesome not expensive for authentic Mexican food. The service on the other hand was horrible they forgot plates out of our order and we waited 25 mins for a cemita de res con quesillo #1 on the menu. Very unorganized for a restaurant thats been up and running for this time, its such a shame for such great food a shame indeed.

Very authentic delicious Cemitas. In case you dont know cemitas are from an area in Mexico called Puebla,hence the "poblano" in the name. As someone who is from Puebla I must say, very, very close. The flavor of the food was good but not quite there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Well my first time coming here, I recommended her there much food jente q hopefully this Rica. And the point q q I do not like is there an envelope charge for paying with the card that says nothing good owners As much jente and stealing their customers q volvere not hurt hurts

Worse cemitas ever i ordered there by mistake, but i decided to give it a try.. I ordered a carnitas & milaneza cemitas. First they gave a cueritos instead of carnitas, milaneza was extremely dry. Not tasty at all. Never will buy food in this restaurant again, very disappointed.

Good food good service which really good as you know during a hard day at work they offer an open bar and they have her on the weekends a lot of times in the morning Ill have Mariachis there so I always take my business associates we come from downtown to eat there

Their fries are frozen they are not fresh cut and they sell them for 3.50 and they dont give a descent portion. Their asada meat is milanesa and it has a lot of fat , and I got a piece of Chile stem in my cemita. Their kitchen is dirty never returning

The BEST Cemita Poblanas Restaurant outside of Puebla, Mexico. The Flores Family (Founders/Owners) are genuinely great people. The service is great. The environment is very clean. My favorite food on the menu is Enchiladas. Absolutely Amazing.

Its the most authentic awesome type of Mexican food. Its a hole in the wall but if youre all about authenticity and dislike the wanna be mexican food/taco bell type of places, this is the place to eat.
