I have been there a couple of times, once for a lunch buffet and another time for an evening dinner. Food is really good. If you cant take spicy food, go with mild spice level. Im from south India, but I couldnt handle the medium level spice here, whereas thats what I choose usually in Indian restaurants . So choose the spice level appropriately. The waiters were kind enough to change the spice level in entrees after I found about the spice level in the appetizers. Their Tandoori chicken was very delicious and juicy. Would recommend this to anyone.

We got the bhindi tareko (sautéed okra), bhenta ra aaloo (eggplant and potato curry), vegetarian momos and papadam and they were all sooo good! However we didnt know that the momos had cheese in them so if youre vegan like us, skip them. We had to eat around the cheese which was kinda challenging. We went on Thanksgiving day so there was only one other customer. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Love the vibe of the place, very pretty decor and relaxing music. Also its in a good location..old town Pasadena is a lovely hangout spot!

Pretty horrible. Very bland rice. The lamb in both our dishes were tough and difficult to eat. The seasoning in the vindaloo and masala was over seasoned and difficult to eat and enjoy. Its almost like they put in whatever seasoning amount they wanted and didnt care too much if it would taste good. My friend ordered a fish masala and they dont even tell you what kind of fish. Apparently its just "mystery fish" Very pricey. We ordered 1 vinadloo, 3 masalas, small appetizer, and rice is extra, total came out to almost $90.

This is very good Indian restaurant with excellent service. If I had to give it a star rating though, I would be stretching it with a 3 star and the reason being that its very expensive. We ordered Bhindi and Mutter Paneer. The main entree are reasonably priced but you dont get rice with it and have to order it separately and like everything, the quantity is small. Rotis are small and almost 50% more than what we have paid at other Indian restaurants. And appetizers as well as desert was a bit pricey.

One of the better restaurants of this style in the area. The menu has a very Indian feel, though I know there is a difference, I cant personally put my finger on what it is. The service was quite good one time we went (the owner was there because someone else was out) and just passable other times. There are frequently coupons in direct mailers that make the otherwise pricy menu more reasonable.

Dont know how this place got such high reviews. Yes, they do have an AYCE buffet during lunch, but hey... the food they serve wasnt even that good. The curry was bland and flavorless compared to a lot of other Indian restaurants Ive tried. It did not make a good impression on me.

The service was ok, food was disappointing. Chicken tikka masala was very creamy and bland. Maybe thats how its done in the Himalayas, but if you like the Indian version this was nothing like it. The tandoori Chicken came out on a fajita cast iron skillet, which was...interesting.

We had never had Nepali good before so we let our waiter order for us and we were not disappointed! So much delicious food for an excellent price. Cant beat this place. If you like yummy food, check this place out. If you prefer gross food, go elsewhere. Two thumbs up!

Delicious chana masala. The best Ive ever had. The waiter was also really friendly and offered me water even though I was only ordering take out. This was my second time here. I plan to keep coming back.

The lunch buffet is quick and has solid, basic options such as tandoori chicken chicken tikka. The hot, fresh naan is brought to your table as often as you request it.
