This is a hidden Gem! We really really dug this place, and for a range of reasons - First and most importantly the food was total restaurant-style high quality Mexican. I had a vegetarian burrito with Fajita veggies and avocado inside, and it was so obvious that the vegetables are bought and cooked fresh - they were still crisp and juicy, not soggy and watery!!! Second the service was great, Katie Jo was our server and was always on hand, plus refilled the chips + salsa (KILLER SALSA) right when I was thinking it. Also, their "famous red sauce" truly is *all that*. It was amazing. We had our burritos drenched in it, and it made the meal. Long story short, I cant imagine theres a better Mexican place in town - and if so, I havent found it yet. Highly recommend. Oh, PS - My Wife has a deadly nut-based allergy, and they were really attentive to our diets and needs. That was really appreciated.

I have to give a shot out to my favorite restaurant in Livermore! Every time I come here I have to share at least two plates because I want to order everything on the menu! Extra mole sauce please! Today Im having my favorite, chicken enchiladas, but I am also sharing another favorite with a friend the steak and chicken fajitas, yum! Im about to have my second mango enchilado margarita! I know I wont be able to walk out of this place because I even ordered their bean and cheese dip app which now has mole sauce! Who ever knew you could make bean and cheese dip 100 times better! With all that said, I highly recommend this place, great happy hour which I love taking advantage of, great drinks, and in the downtown area which I love!

Very disapointing. Reviews here are not accurate. From service to food was such a disapointment. $100 thrown away. Carnitas were old burnt and salty. Beans and rice just ok, not authentic at all. Menudo was terrible. Old and undercooked and smelled horrible. Chicken tenders in kids menu horrible. So disapointed that it says authentic mexican food, please anyone that knows about food and anything about mexican food knows this place is horrible. When we asked for our check after 5 mint of receiving our food not once did the waiters ask us if our food was ok or why we were leaving and our entire plate was still intact. Please Please Do not waste your money here.

If I had the ability to give negative stars, I would have given them. My friends and I go there all the time and we always say "Its where we go to have good food and be treated poorly." At least they are consistant. Service is horrible and we were grossly overcharged, two people in our party paid their portion at the bar. The bartender presented the bill to the table in its entirety and proceeded to argue he was right. Thankfully the prepaid peeps were still in house and he eventually had to concede he was wrong. It was a $100.00 descrepancy and well worth fighting for!

Love the food. Their enchiladas are amazing, and they have Mexican coke. I dont even know what else they serve, because I only ever get the enchiladas and a Mexican coke. Seriously, they could literally rename their restaurant "Enchiladas and Mexican Coke" and theyd still do very well. All joking aside, it is a great place with a great atmosphere. Everyone leaving negative reviews is nuts. And remember, those with ONE bad experience are more likely to review than one hundred people who have had good experiences. So give it a shot! Youll love it!

Favorite sit down Mexican food in Livermore. When you order a margarita ask for fresh ingredients and stiff otherwise you get the premade "mix" and its weak and they are expensive at over ten dollars. Food is great though. Recommended the fish Veracruzao with corn tortillas to sop up the delicious sauce. Fun lively although loud atmosphere.

The super burrito mojado with carnitas was very tasty. I would definitely get that again. The carne asada fries were interesting but not amazing. The idea of them was the best part though they werent bad. Just a little boring flavor wise. Our server was pleasant and made some good recommendations.

$16+ tax for a not so big plate of 3 enchiladas, half cup of rice, and refried beans. No picante salsa available, have to manage with Tapatio. I dont think the location and service warrants these prices. 2 stars for the mole on the enchilada. Will avoid.

Enchiladas. I wish I could say I get anything else but its so rare that I cant remember the other dishes. The mole sauce is so good and our favorite waiter remembers our drink choices with extra cherries in the kids roy rogers.

They moved down the street near the theatre to a much bigger place. The old place is now an Italian Bistro run by the same family. Good food here too, even if they are not Italian! Good deal on good red sauce pasta. Lunch $8.00
