Osaka Sushi is right down the street from my office. They have very good Bento boxes for lunch and they are always a good value. The udon soup is also very tasty. They have a pretty good grilled teriyaki salmon, which my wife really likes. I wish they had an IPA on the drinks menu, however, they have a pretty typical beer selection for your average sushi place. They have a big selection of Maki rolls, as well as custom and hand rolls. They have quite a bit of seating, including some seating upstairs for when its busy, which most days during the week it usually gets that way for a while.

I had lunch here yesterday with a friend after not going for 5+ years. The quality of the food was still pretty good and about on par with how it was before. The interior is dark but comfortable and trying to be upscale slightly, but I also dont like their choice of decorations. They have started hanging large format posters or beer ads and it makes the place look cheap. Worth eating here if you are in the area and in a hurry. For sushi in Woodland though I recommend going to Jinju instead.

Great! Food is always good. King kong roll is awesome. It is not on menu. Service is sometimes bad however depending on your waitress. In summer the upstairs is always too hot so sit downstairs. Watch your charges. I knew someone who was charged 600 instead of 60 dollars. The restaurant was not quick to clear it up either. So needless to say that person will NEVER go there again.

Very much let down. We have eaten here multiple times with mixed reviews, the sushi is usually great, but always over priced. We recently ordered to go and it was a horrible experiance. I was told 15 to 20 minutes, it took 40. The presentation was horrendous, the bbqd albacore was fully cooked and not edible. We will not be returning.

Service is tricky here, you can have a good time, or a bad time. Some sushi doesnt come to you like it is described on the menu, each chef does rolls different, there isnt a consistency. Bento boxes are delicious, especially the teriyaki salmon, great spot for lunch. If you order for pickup, call at least 20 minutes in advance.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! My friend and I visit regularly and the staff are always nice to us. Some of the staff know us by name and remember what we like and dont like. The sushi is great and I have very nearly tried every sushi roll on their menu, all of them good.

Love, love, love this spot. Osaka is top notch in sushi. I lived in the Bay Area most of my life and Osaka can be compared with some of the best in the Bay Area. If you love sushi and are in Woodland, CA it is a must that you try them out. You will not be disappointed.

Food is awesome and so is the customer service, even on a busy night my group got our appetizers, food and dessert in excellent timing! They will even deep fry sushi rolls if you ask. I had deep fried salmon rolls with a side of tempura sauce and it blew my mind!

Pretty good sushi restaurant in the Sacramento vicinity. I recommend selecting the bento boxes, sashimi or udon. The rolls are 80/20 rice vs. cucumber/avocado/fish. Owner is chill. Decent service. Takes awhile to get the check. Ask early when they are packed!

The first time I had sushi it was in hawaii and it was not good. Then my husband brought me here and I fell in love. The Tempura California roll is delicious! Dannys roll with tempura shrimp is awesome and their spicy edamame is my go to starter!

BEST FOOD! amazing sushi, calamari is bomb! my kids cant live with out a bowl of their miso soup every week. the service can be crappy yes. unless u get a senior staff. the wait is sometimes long but the food most defiantly makes up for it!

Service was very bad! After an hour of waiting for service I had to get up and ask if I could get my own water. But I must say, when I finally did get my lemon chicken I almost forgot about how long we waited...it was to die for!!
