From the outside, this place looks like a fancy-shmancy mansion. I would have never thought it was like Chevys beautiful big sister. They took 12 of us in 15 minutes prior to closing which was nice of them. The music kind of clashes with the warm, traditional Mexican atmosphere since the young waitresses were bumpin hip hop, but it was a very laid back environment. Our food came out fast and on huge plates with portions thatll feed two. I had the mini-chimis which was just the perfect size to fill me up, but not stuff me up. Each dish was anywhere between $9-$16 and well worth it. The only thing that irked me was when the waitress spilled sour cream on my pants and said, "Oh, did that come from the plate?" and left without saying sorry or oops or excuse me. I was like, oh no she di-int. But I let it go. We also came here the following day, but this time with a party of up to 30. And this time, we were all by the bar. The main bartender, Pepe, hooked us up big time. These guys are Speedy-Gonzalez-fast with the drinks! Theyre mos def on top of their game. One of the best bartending teams Ive seen so far! Each person must have had 5-10 shots+beers, some maybe even more, and each drink was sKrong, and each shot was to-the-rim! I wish I wouldve been here on a more happier note, but it was a great way for a group of friends to celebrate the life of a friends passing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to those looking for some decent Mexican food in a nice, casual setting, especially for a big group of friends/family where you know things can get a little loud & crazy

I should have given it 2 stars, but this was my 5th time going, and 5th time they struck out. Here is a list of my complaints. They were cutting limes and lemons on the counter, with out gloves. The guy doing the cutting was not the bartender, he appeared to be one of the helpers. My daughter ordered the pulled pork, it must have been cooked the day before and left of the stove. Pieces were hard like beef jerkey. It was tasty, but the cook should have removed those pieces before sending the plate out of the kitchen. I ordered the Chile Rellanos, they looked like something out of a freezer box that were put in the microwave to heat up. I was in shock when they were put in front of me, and more shocked when i started to eat them. They were not entirely hot. I guess they didnt leave them in the microwave long enough. My wife ordered the chile verde, and it was good and she didnt have any complaint about her food. It seems they have lost what they had before they moved. Its a shame, i know its just the supervision that is lacking. I noticed the employees were doing a lot of talking to each other, and not paying attention to the customers. Maybe one day they will bring in that crazy chef to fix the place up. For now, its off my list of places to eat.

Went for dinner last night. I should of stayed home and cooked. We spent 100 + and it was not worth 25. The tacos Al carbon where super salty. I sent them back and asked why they tasted like salt. Waitress told me yes that they werent her favorite. I couldnt understand then why she wouldnt say anything. They cook them with soy sauce. No wonder. The quality of the meat was bad. The chips were stale and not cooked to perfection. The only thing descent was my Margarita. They brought me a steak taco salad but it was just a bunch of mush with cream. Im disappointed. Maybe they can get by with giving people anything since they already established with multiple restaurants, but I dont think I will return. Too salty too expensive poor service. Find out for yourself.

Our server Luis or Lois was very rude and refused to separate our tab with a large party when our son got sick, he said that they were too busy and would not split our tab. The restaurant was less than half full at 6pm. I will never go to casa orozco in Dublin or Livermore ever again because of this guy. The last thing you want to tell your customer in this economy is that you are too busy to accommodate their needs when they are paying top dollar to enjoy themselves. I will admit that it is difficult to split tabs in a large party but we explained our situation and needed to leave early due to our 2 YO sons condition and he flat out refused to allow us to pay and leave. Very disappointed with Luis.

Incredibly disappointing! They used to be really good. Lately, the meat is dry, tough and overcooked. In Livermore the Carnitas was too dry and hard to eat. The drinks were watered down. The Tacos Pastor from the appetizer menu was OK, the meat alone was a little dry but the sauce made it edible. In Dublin the drinks were better but the Chili Colorado was tough and dry. The seasonings in the sauce were good. I think the recipes are still good but the quality of meat and cooking technique are lacking. If I am going to pay those prices for Mexican food, I want good quality and tasty food.

Im not one for chain Mexican sit-down restaurants, but Casa Orozco is pretty good. Ive been to Livermore and Dublin, the food is good both places, service is always good, and we normally end up gorging ourselves on the fresh chips and house-made salsa everytime. Hah, I just saw the mini-description on the Google Map, "Basic spot for Mexican dining & drinks." Yep, that about sums it up. Id give them 5 stars if they had something stand-out that Ive seen. But, as my experience has been, its just like the ol-trusty of sit-down mexican spots when you feel like having that.

Ive checked out several Mexican restaurants in Livermore over the past few months And I thought Casa Orozco was pretty damn good. The margaritas were really good, the food was good, the portions were enormous and our waiter was great. The place is really festive. Id like to go back and sit at the bar for happy hour or maybe sit outside. They have an awesome outdoor patio. Note to self, good Mexican food, Casa Orozco.

Prices are ridiculously high. You get a better burrito at just about any other taqueria in town for half the price. The staff has a turnover rate so high that you dont see the same people a week later, that should say something. The veteran employees they do have, have a terrible attitude. This used to be our go to place but now we rarely go there, and when we do, we are reminded of why we stopped.

This place is large but often full. It includes patio dining. I think its the best Mexican restaurant in Livermore. Alas, I no longer have the ability to eat large portions so I usually order an a la carte fish taco (large!) and scarf up the chips (they have several salsas). I like their fish tacos so much that Im hesitant to order them elsewhere as they rarely come up to this standard.

Always a great place for a stiff drink, consistent flavor and close to downtown! Pepe and Jay are great behind the bar! Luis and Carlos are always around, great owners - being a part of the daily experience! So what, the food isnt 100% authentic, and it isnt the cheapest, but it is plentiful and consistently tasty! My standard go to spot for over 10 years....
