This place is always supper bizzy. But they are fast.... Unfortunately they always get your order wrong. & Mean ALWAYS!!! Check it at the counter before you walk away. & keep your receipts. The girls who work hear are all black. Without being racist black girls tend to be argumentative by nature, with strong personalities. This store like most fast food places has a large turn over rate. That being said ive been served by 20-30 different black girls. Now this store is in a $hitty part of town with a ton of beggars. So i can see why they are so feisty. You shouldnt have to save your recipients so when you get your order & its wrong, because its going to be. Then you can verbally batter the counter girl with recipients in hand as proof till she finally gives in & fixes your order. But if you choose to buy food from this store be prepared. Lots of times i didnt keep my recipients& literally 45seconds later Im like "i just ordered less than a minute ago how can you not remember.... Glazed red eyes think back to blunt hits taken on break shoulders shrug & " Ughh Ughhh" is issued On the bright side 3 times they messed up & gave me way more food than i paid for. The 1st time i gave it back... & yes i had to fight with the girl till about 3min into the fight she realized i was trying to give stuff back then she started laughing & said "i dont know why you juss dinnit keep it" The # 2&3 time i did keep it due to being ripped off about 4times & either not wanting to drive back & or loosing the mortal combat round for my proper order. Just remember LOOK IN THE BAG AT THE COUNTER!! KEEP RECEIPTS!!

Im strong like the dickens, cause I eat fried chicken. Im Rodney, the hungry man! Originally, this Popeyes was shutdown by the Health Department. I read the reason was due to a vermin issue, but I cant confirm that. With the long closure came a facelift, rebranding & shiny new interior. Absence does make the heart grow fonder. While not being my favorite fast food chicken spot, which is Churchs Chicken BTW, I would stop by Popeyes on occasion for their Tuesday legs & thighs special in the past. For my initial visit to the remodeled Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, I went with the $5 meal - 2 pieces mixed, 2 sides & a biscuit. Nostalgia wears rose colored glasses. I found the small pieces of chicken to be kinda dry. The mashed potatoes & gravy & the red beans & rice cheered me up, with the flavor of Creole seasoning permeating each spoonful. Service was good, as my order was taken right away with a short wait for my food to come out. Plenty of seating for those looking to dine in. Parking is in a private lot on the right & in the Food 4 Less shopping center on the left. Popeyes, I missed you. However, I think my memory of you surpasses reality. Your fried chicken doesnt find my happy place like Churchs, but I do like your seasoned side dishes. Plus, I did enjoy your crawfish entrees in the past, which is something you have exclusively. Ill be stopping by now & then for sure, more for your non-chicken items. Recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

This fried chicken is my elderly mothers absolute favorite. So much that Ive probably gone here at least twice or more in a month, on Tuesdays, for the 2 for Tuesday deal (a leg and a thigh piece will set you back a cheap $1.57 (tax included). My own favorite her is the Red beans with rice or the Cajun Rice. Theyve also started offering Shrimp by the "tackle" box, by itself or with Chicken tenders for $5/ box (comes with two regular sized sides). Food is quite good. Ask for the Hot sauce and Sparkle for that extra flavor burst!

Service is so so, atmosphere is typical of a fast food place, but i dont go there to hang out and make friends with the staff, I go there to get some great tasting chicken at a good price to take home for dinner. The only reason I give service a bad review is because theyre understaffed and it creates a problem in speed of servicing their customers.

This place has gone down hill since it opened. The service is bad they always get my order wrong, fries are always cold. You order a 3 pc chicken and they give you two wings WTF is that about. Where oh where did the old owner go? Someone who knows how to manage please take over and give up some good food.

I ordered 10 pcs mixed with 2 large sides & 5 biscuits meal. As it shown on my receipt. Im disappointed when I came home ready to eat & found out that our order is wrong. Instead of 10 pcs mixed they gave us 10 pcs leg & thigh. I didnt want to come back cause Ive been tired & I live far. Very disappointed!

I love the chicken, but to show up on Super Bowl Sunday to get chicken and find put that they had no spicy chicken prepared was maddening. To top it off the girl at the counter said that they ran out because they make it fresh, never mind that there was plenty of mild sitting under the heat lamps.

Bad, chicken place that does not have chicken cooked to sell. Took what they had. Think it was bad or just burned through it Im the trash and walked out . Nine bucks in the trash. Did not complain because if they dont have food ready to sell what good would complaining do .

NEVER AGAIN @ THIS FRANCHISE LOCATION. WAITED 35 MINS. CHICKEN WAS FRIED COMPLETELY THROUGH. DROVE BACK TO MAKE A RETURN, WAS DENIED. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. CALLED CORPORATE, SAME RESPONSE. BAD BUSINESS. THE SUPER MARKET DELI HAS BETTER SERVICE AND PRICE. *&^%$ POPEYES .

The food is great but the service at times is a little slow and tonight we bought a gallon of lemonade, "to go" and it was totally watered down. They get it from the self-serve beverage dispensers, but it just wasnt right!

Poor services, cashier is too busy texting and entering wrong order. Asked me to pay $4 more than the poster deal on the window. Besides, manager denied to take official coupon showed on smart phone, insisted a print out.

So delicious! Had the shrimp po boy sandwich and the red beans and rice side. Their sweet tea is fresh and not overly sweet. Everything was really good, will definitely return.
