Depending on whos on staff, the quality of your food will taste great or suffer. As for service, if you have a small to medium size order, you can expect good accuracy from your order. However, if you are doing a large take-out order, it pays to have a checklist handy. Twice our company ordered take-outs from Popcorn Chicken and few items were missing, however, both times the staffs were reasonable to speak with in correcting our orders, but youll just have to drive back to get the missing items. The owner is very nice and helpful, so are the other employees.

Taiwan Popcorn Chicken offers some pretty unique bao sandwiches. My girlfriend and I shared their pork belly bao and their braised beef bao. The pork belly was a deliciously savory and soft cut. This bao came with pickled daikon and a miso glaze. The crunchy daikon created a textural contrast with the steamed bun and the pork belly. The braised beef bao was very tender and came with an outstanding horseradish mayo. I would highly recommend both.

One of the rare places in Irvine thats open relatively late. The food is good, and they dont mess around when they make things spicy, though it takes some time to kick in. Theres some more "exotic" choices here as well. Unsurprisingly, most of the food here is brown (its fried, even the veggies), so take that into consideration if youre looking for a food-porn place to eat.

Food is good, not fantastic, but it will definitely satisfy a craving for Taiwanese food. I love the canvases hung around the restaurant. Minimum purchase of $10 to use a credit card.

Their food taste good. But i saw a fried hair on my popcorn chicken. I been here a lot i love the food. But you guys need improve your sanitary conditions and quality.
