I was introduced to this place by my friend who Guaranteed me THE ABSOLUTE BEST DESSERT I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying...SHE KEPT HER WORD AND THIS PLACE DELIVERED! I enjoyed the environment, the delightful welcoming employees and the prompt service. I recommend everyone check it out! Order the warm choc.chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream, drizzled with hot fudge, whipped cream and topped with a strawberry! Its THE FINEST DESSERT IVE EVER HAD!!!!

This place is pretty divey, but when you work nightshift and you want to go out after work for a drink, this is the place to go! The food is good, the drinks are cheap for the area, and strong. Horacio is the best, hes always on top of things for our busy group. Unfortunately when hes not there you can definitely notice a change in the speed of the service. Note that this place is cash only! They do have an ATM but it charges a service fee.

Been coming here 20 year. Good food, big portions, fair prices & cheap drinks, friendly owners. Whats not to like? Best "dive bar" with food in Newport, maybe OC. 90% of customers are local regulars. Besides booths to eat in the bar, theres a family dining room for bigger groups or grandkids. Impress a first date, no. Immaculate, no. Good deal, yes.

Its a dive bar, but the service and food are excellent. I recommend the chicken fried pork chop. Be advised it is not a tenderized steak, its a pork chop, and its great! The biscuits and gravy are ok - the biscuits themselves are not homemade, but the gravy is. Even though its a bar, kids are welcome if you are going there to dine.

I guess this might be a good spot to go to if youre just looking to drink, but I stopped in for breakfast to give it a try. The chicken fried steak that I ordered tasted exactly like the fish and chips breading on a chicken breast. Disappointing to say the very least. And just FYI, its like a donut shop--CASH ONLY.

This is the best little restaurant in Newport Beach. Owners are always on staff making sure quality and service is nonpareil. I couldnt be more satisfied. This place truly holds the benchmark for a 5 star restaurant. Only draw back is its cash only, but they have an ATM inside.

The "breakfast biscuits" come out of a can....soooooo , it is very basic. The syrup for pancakes comes in a single serve peel off tub... its not amazing like everyone says at all, but it is good and I will keep going because overall it has its appeal and good food.

Charming dive bar, meh food, cash only, with a private ATM(high service charge). It is rated lower because we discovered it was cash when we were given the bill, no signs that we obvious to is on entering the house.

Enjoy a meal, you cant beat their lobsters and steak specials. Enjoy the bar, but dont drink and drive. Enjoy a meeting and you wont have to worry about drinking and driving. LoL.... All in one place! Love it!
