The first time I had this place was many years ago. My mom and I decided to go here because she had a coupon. She was a little iffy on it because the prices were a little high for a burger joint and never wanted it ever again for that reason. However, after having burgers from other restaurants around the area, Ive come to the realization that she was completely wrong and the money is well worth it. Garlands to me gives you the best amount of quality for the price you pay. You get good portions, good food quality, and incredibly friendly customer service. They have a good amount of variety which makes it really hard to decide what to eat. However, to me the best options here are the double/triple bacon cheeseburger or the Philly Cheesesteak. So far also from my experiences living here, Garlands has the best Philly Cheesesteak in South County. If you are looking for a decent cheesesteak, this where to get one. Its not as authentic, but the taste is there and is worth the money. However, be prepared to pay about 7 or 8 dollars minimum if you do plan to have it. It may seem pricey, but when you compare it to a lot of the sub par burger joints in the area *cough cough* Orcutt Burgers *cough cough*, then the amount you pay will not seem so bad.

The burgers are the driving force behind this place. So do not stray as I did one day and order the fish and chips. I would have been better served to go to the forzen food section and buy them, since that seems to be what they did. They look just like Gortons pre-formed filets and tasted awful. The dining room is tiny, so I suggest you eat outside and enjoy the weather. Just stick to the burgers!

The perfect "mom and pop" Californian burger joint. I love Garlands. Wide variety to choose from. Seafood, burgers, sandwiches, malts and shakes. And great proportions. You, definitely get what you pay for. Just expect to gain a few pounds. Its a guilty pleasure!

Great job by Luis out in front at the register making recommendations and Mario putting it down on the grill. My Kobe beef burger was bomb, my Chilli Cheese fries were amazing! The Garland basket is always a great meal as well.

The food taste good.. however the previously frozen patty is smaller or just as small as a McDonalds patty.. the whole reason I dont eat at fast food.. for a 6$ burger u are better off going yo Carls Jr!!!

Went in and had the Donut Bacon Cheese Burger and fries which were both amazing! Overall Great Food and Great Service! If you havent been there before then i highly recommend you go!
