Food was amazing! Service, on the other hand...not so great. Took 20 minutes for server to even acknowledge us and bring us water. The place was maybe half full. She threw the food on the table and walked away, which surprised us. Then she didnt check in with us again until well past when we were ready for the check. No additional water...nothing. The delicious food was kept this review at 3 stars...drunken noodle, cashew chicken, chicken satay...all 5 star! Need to work on service big time.

Fourth time in six months and I still love this place. The food is always fresh and savory. Having traveled through Laos two years ago I find this so traditional in flavor and quality. I recommend the Serenity Soup with pawns and Drunken Noddles which reminds me of the meals I was served on the road side stops as we road our motorcycles through the mountains. Very friendly and agreeable staff who make great suggestions.

This place was great. The food was really delicious, and were usually very selective. There were many great dishes to choose from. The service was amazing. Our server was super friendly, and she must have overheard our conversation because at the end of our meal I was surprised with a free plate of Mango Sticky Rice and song for my birthday! Panoy is definitely worth visiting again and again.

We didnt get our first plate until an hour after we were seated. The appetizer (egg rolls) took a half hour and were over fried. They then brought each of 3 plates put separately with 5 minutes between, making it awkward for the people who didnt have their food still waiting. The food was good but not worth an hour wait. We will order take out next time.

Amazing food, good atmosphere and service, reasonably priced. Had an amazing "prince of noodles" with shitake and tofu, excellent kao poon, excellent peanut stir fry, very good phanang curry with shitake and tofu, very good "rolls" with shitake - both the peanut sauce and lime sauce were great. Loved it, my favorite restaurant in town! will come back!

Service is hit or miss but I dont care because it is easily the best Southeast Asian food Ive had aside from when I was in Thailand. Its bomb! I like the crying tiger noodle dish and the Tom kha soup. Service is inconsistent though. It can be good, but dont count on it. I just cant keep away from the food.

Panoy Bistro is the best. Its one of my favorite places in Grass Valley -- a lil discreet hole in the wall, with a really quirky cute girl taking orders and her mom making food in the back. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful.

Tasteful, non saturated atmosphere with great service. Menu offered a good variety of choices. Dishes were presented well, food was good but not a magnificent knockout considering the price.

This place is fantastic! Its a little bit of a hole in the wall but once you taste the fresh and amazingly flavored food you will crave it anytime you think of Thai food.

Beautiful people and better food. Live a little, and order something 3 or higher on the spice scale.
