We have to give the chef five stars for the cooking of the food. Our steak was done to perfection and the scallops beautifully sauted in butter. The salad was very wilted but the rest of the meal was top notch, lightly seasoned garlic mashed potatoes and a nice size serving of vegetables,. The service also excelled, with Sabrena being attentive but not constantly hovering. The hostesses left much to be desired as we declined sitting in the worn out booths that leave diners nearly sitting on the floor , then another small table where the dishes dont fit on the table. We saw the smirk on the other hostesses face when she told hostess one to seat us in the rear, next to the kitchen. Actually she did us a favor as yes we were pretty much sitting by ourselves tucked away, out of sight and it was wonderfully quiet and the conversation was at a normal volume, nothing like what was going on in the main seating area. As we left, the hostesses were again smirking ......and so was I. Once you get past the judgemental hostesses myself and my very prestigious dining partner had a wonderful meal. His only comment was that he had asked to dine in an out of the way place to not draw attention, but he would not tolerate the smug rudeness of a hostess in his country let alone their unfit attire. Food and service 10, hostess staff 1.

I like to say that Im giving a five space on the fact that its one of the very few places in Gilroy where you can get a really nice steak and have I guess you could say classier dinner experience. Now this place is a bit more expensive but I will tell you that the quality of the food is always very good. Ive never had something that wasnt fresh here or wasnt cooked properly. When I come here are usually order the specials whether that is a prime rib, fish, scallops or steak sandwich. Most of their options are pretty good in any time we come here although we spend more than you average Leawood somewhere else you got really good food that no one complains about. They have nice lunch options but their dinner trumps all. And if youre looking for something a little more Rich their lobster bisque soup is one of the best Ive ever had. I would definitely suggest stopping at this little Jewel in Gilroy.

Living in gilroy for 19 uears, I never thought I would make it into this restaurant. I have been here 3 times in the past year. Twice for mini events with co-workers and once with my husband for date night. He LOVED it and talked about it for a couple days after. The food is obviously good or I definitely would NOT have come back. I love food, especially good food.

Great Service Excellent Food Newcastle on tap Full bar and wine This is at the top of our list for places to celebrate moments and family. Weve only had 1 bad server and that was years ago. Filet mignon has been under cooked twice more rare than medium. Other than those small things this our favorite spot in town. Reservations are recommended for dinner.

Great family friendly restaurant. My wife, son and I love the breakfast menu. The West Side Scramble is great! My wife loves the Chorizo scramble. Our toddler takes what ever he can get. Service is fast, and food was perfect. The staff are very courteous, friendly, and understanding the needs of a 20 month old toddler.

Westside is always a go to option when we want a good meal in Gilroy. Staff are always really nice, and the food is excellent. Their jambalaya is one of my favorites. Whether you want a cozy night out for a date or want to hang out at the bar and watch the game, Westside has you covered.

I do believe I had the best grilled pork chops Ive ever had - ever. Excellent service, ambiance and of course, food. Pricey? I dont think so - its just right/in line with this type of restaurant - re: its not your hole in the wall, nor fast food chain.

I went last night with 5 family members. We were thouroughly disappointed. The best part of the meal was the lobster bisque. My surf & turf ribeye steak was super thin and extremely fatty. The shrimp was overcooked. For the price, you should expect more.

Very nice place, real napkins, attentive and friendly staff and excellent food. Everyone in our group loved what they ordered and there was plenty to take home. A hot day in Girloy and a place to be cool. Recommend the rib roast dip sandwich.

We have been here 3 times. And have been impressed all three. The steaks are always cooked perfectly. I recommend the prawns for an appetizer and the lobster bisque is quite good. The wine and drink selection is fairly solid.

Slow service, but friendly staff. Lots of locals that chill there and also the occasional motorcycle groups that invade the parking lot. Overall good place to catch an affordable bite to eat.
