If zero stars were possible, then thats what I would give them. We went here for the first time to celebrate Fathers Day. The restaurant was not too crowded and we were seated immediately. We waited for 30 minutes before my husband left the table to find someone to place our order. At this point, we had not even been approached for a drink order. The lady that came to our table was not a part of the waitstaff and appeared to be a part of management. I told her that we had been waiting for a half hour without any acknowledgement from the three waitresses that had continuously passed by our table. There was no show of remorse and the ladys response was, "well, Im here now to take your order...do you want me to take your order?". We waited another 10 minutes at which time we realized that the two beers and coffee that we had ordered were not going to be delivered. We were so baffled and bummed by the absolute lack of attention that we decided to leave and try our luck in Healdsburg. I spoke to the lady as we exited the restaurant letting her know we were leaving and the reason we were leaving and her only response was, "so, you dont want your food anymore." Ick.

Reading all the reviews, I truly wish I could give this place a higher rating... Unfortunately, I am unable to. Yes, the atmosphere was endearing however the food did not come out anticipated. I ordered a pizza, and have enjoyed thin crusts in the past ... this was not one of them. There was enough oil/grease sogging through that the bottom went limp when attempting to pick up any slice... These are merely 12" pizzas mind you... Not piled with toppings to make them heavy. Not to mention the blackened crust on the edges were bothersome to say the least. When asked how our meal was I let my waitress know my concerns and she laughed and kept walking. Maybe she thought I was joking? We attempted to eat the oil soaked slices and just deal with it but after a couple of slices we decided to just cut our losses and get the bill so we could leave. The only reason theyre deserving of more stars is because the staff seemed sincerely apologetic and insisted on comping our meal.

This was our very first visit to Diavola and what an unexpected and special discovery! Ducked in for a quick late (8pm-ish) dinner on a Monday night - the place was quite full indoors and out. We were lucky enough to be seated quickly without reservations outside in their stunningly beautiful covered patio. Service was tops, our order came out quickly and our food and drink was fantastic! I cant comment enough about the outstanding service and gourmet excellence. We had pizza and salad, but the menu is quite diverse and all the other dishes we saw looked incredible. Make sure you consider their daily specials as those looked especially amazing. We will definitely be back again and again. Diavola is a MUST!!

Burnt pizza warning! My wife and I ordered a pizza but it was burnt and tastes BITTER. The ingredients were good but burnt pizza new it a moot point. When we cmplainted to the waitress, the manager came out and explained all pizzas came out the SAME BURNT because they could not control the temperature of the wood oven!!! I went there because of the good reviews now I know better. I will never go back and if you do not like burnt food... Stay away...

Delicious! We sat in the wonderful garden patio and enjoyed the heirloom tomato salad, the Dictator pizza and the Tiramisu. We brought a bottle of Rosè over from Pech Merle (next door! Go there also) and everything about our meal was delicious. The next day while reminiscing over our wonderful evening our biggest regret was that we couldnt have tried more of their delicious food. Go eat, drink and enjoy!!

Gluten free? No problem. Love pizza- its a must Into artisan meats, hurry up run This place is a gem. I reccomend going right at 5 to be seated because this place fills up fast but it is so so so good its worth the wait. Now the wait is tempered by the geryserville gun club, a bar next door where you can wait. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Love love love this place

Finding a restaurant of this caliber in Geyserville (Pop 1,750) was totally unexpected. The thick crusted Bambino pizza was among the best weve ever had primarily because of the tomato sauce made from fresh locally grown tomatoes. The Meyer lemon gelato, made with lemons from our waiters home, was also outstanding. This restaurant is definitely worth the drive to get here.

We are regulars at Diavola. The best Italian Restaurant north of San Francisco, period. The Chef/owner is a butcher and cures his own meats. He uses very fresh, very local ingredients. (Many of his vendors are our neighbors.) A menu that changes all the time. Friendly service. Casual atmosphere. Perfect!

A friend took me to this little place while I was in N. Cal. I had the pizza with anchovies: excellent! He had one with lettuce and prosciutto-it was incredible. The braised hearts of Romaine were delicious. Looking for a real gourmet meal? This is one place that delivers. Happy Eating Boog

Quirky Italian pizzeria. We had the sausage, pork belly and red pepper pizzas and the persimmon salad to split between 3 people. The portions were satisfying and the crust was nice, slightly sourdough-y with a char. I liked that they featured craft brews and some unusual Italian sodas.

Disappointing experience. Pizzas were way too salty and oily and lacked finesse. Service was also lackluster. Mussels and Frittes were lukewarm when they reached the table. Heirloom tomato salad had only four small slices of the tomato. Menu sounds really good but execution failed.

We love coming here for dinner! it is always crowded and noisy - perfect for family gathering. We order many different pizzas and appetizers and share. The home made salami, sausages, and prosciutto are fantastic. Everything is authentic and hand made. You must visit soon!!

An over all lovely place. We had lunch on a Sunday afternoon, wine was very nice, service was a bit slow, salads were delicious, however for a place whos focus is pizza, it was less than memorable. All of this while forgivable, the $100. + bill was memorable.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the nine Bay Area counties. I love the atmosphere, and the food is excellent in a casual way. Ive eaten here probably 20 times even though I live 2 hours away. Ask to eat in the back porch on a nice day.

Their dough for their pizzas is fantastic, the toppings very fresh and interesting. Bambino is incredible, the bread sticks are a favorite of my husbands. Cannot say enough about the food, need to go more often to try more things!!!

Excellent service and food. Best pizza I have ever eaten. Superb Salads as well. Have a drink while you wait for them to call your cell in The Gentlemans Gun Club Bar right next door. Terrific combo for a fun evening.
