Forget the coffee! I came hopping for a good espresso and of curse being the coffee snob that I am, I was disappointed. The only have dark roast and Very dark roast.... Bitter smoky and not very pleasant to drink. The service in the other hand is really outstanding, friendly, fast and super efficient even though she had a full house and a full outside seating area. The the thing of this place that deserves a 5 STAR rating for me, is the gourmet chocolate DING DONG!! My god! This was really amazing, moist fluffy not over sweet and chocolaty delicious! Its between a brownie and a fudge, sheer perfection! I can go on and on about this delicious treat that surpass the sub-par espresso. I will come again, for a Ding Dong and have the coffee from somewhere else :)

The vibe here is really chill. I would highly recommend the blueberry latte... It reminds me of a blueberry donut. Its creamy, sweet and fragrant. Hmm the second time I ordered one, I had asked for less sweet, and it was not as good. It could be due to my request for less sweet, or a different barista... but anyways, why mess with something thats already good? Their lemon bar is pretty good. Not the best Ive had, but good. There is an outside patio and there was live music the couple of times Ive been there. The only thing I dont like about this place is that I never find a table to sit... we sat on the benches inside, or on the benches outside of the patio. Or you can just grab your drink and walk around DTF. Find the wifi code on your receipt

I have been trying to support this place, but the coffee and espresso is really inconsistent. I have commonly found it to be watered down. They really need to find a better roast, recalibrate the machine, or retrain their employees because their product is inconsistent. My friends who like super sugary drinks seem to find their drinks ok, but I am really about the roast and commonly dont order flavored drinks. If you are going to take on that Seattle chain and charge more you gotta dedicate yourself to good flavor. I love Freesoul in Tusint and Cafe Lucca in old town but had hoped for something local with quality drinks consistently. Also take a hint from free soul and Petes and offer more vegan food options.

Open SUPER LATE!!! Im not a coffee snob, but I like my coffee black and I like theirs. It tastes good and is organic, which I like. I almost always just drink a black house blend, and unlike the other reviewer here, I think the coffee is very consistent. They also have incredible pastries and deserts made fresh from a local bakery. I love the hodge-podge furniture and lamps, and they usually have cool artwork on display. Outlets are readily available to most seating areas for the mobile workers/students. The best part about this place though - theyre open from 10am - "late"... they close when you leave! Ive been in this place at 1:30am and it was still PACKED. Love it!

This small and hipster little coffee shop is not only a great spot to study, do some ready, grab a cup of joe or tea, but it also offers entertainment right outside on their patio. I was brought here once on a date for karaoke night, little did I know it was more like a talent show which was amazing. Their staff was nice and never lost their wits during the massive amount of folks awaiting their beverages. Aside from their entertainment nights (movie night being one of them!) the actual location is just right. And lets not forget the decor; Whooo doesnt like owls!

They have nice, dark espresso and lots of high quality pastry options. The atmosphere is very sweet. Only downside is that its very pricey, and theres not too many strict coffee options (only two roasts). Its mostly customization-based, rather than focusing on the types of coffee. Other than that, its a lovely place to study or hang out downtown!

a perfect spot to go to if youre looking for a nice cuo of coffee and someplace to relax and study for a bit. They also have shows every other night showcasing local artists which is pretty awesome. The selection of food and drinks is small but they make up for it with the taste. Definitely recommend coming by and checking out this coffee shop.

Free live music on weekends! The outdoor patio is the back is perfect for a sunny day or for a chill night with friends while listening to live music. Its pretty hipster. The coffee is good but a little on the pricey side. Parking is easy with the free lot in the back and street parking. Theres also free wifi!

I just found a great coffee shop in Fullerton CA. For years I never even knew it was there. Yesterday I ask my phone for a coffee shop near me. The first time I have ever seen The Night Owl listed under Coffee Shop. It was fantastic to find a place with such good prices and such great customer service. The

The short version: good coffee, great service, decent prices, nice atmosphere, take credit card, AND have hemp milk for all of us who are soy-lactose free. Longer version: Dont bother with the longer version, just go. One side note: theyre open until 3:00 am, not 5:00 am. Just a heads up.

The place looks cool, I love the outdoor seating area, they are open really late, and the drinks are good... sometimes... I like my coffee black, and the stuff here is either great, burnt, or just plain watery. Id go here more if it didnt feel like such a gamble.

Awesome place, workers are nice, relaxed, & very full of energy (maybe the tea, or coffee has something to do with it; haha). Been here for hours working on my resume and the vibe is the perfect place for work/studies. I will come back and recommend to others.

Without hesitation were so sweet and welcoming to me and my puppy girl. Bright and early we searched for a place for me to work and Rasta to hangout. The owner and the staff were so loving to Rasta and so friendly with me-- felt like i was visiting family.

A great place to hang out and get a cup of coffee. The atmosphere is great whether you want to study or hang with the baristas and regulars. Live music 3 times a week with the occasional poetry night and midnight movies thrown in just to mix it up.

I ordered a blended elvis drink and it was mediocre in flavor and less than in appearance and texture. Its lovely to enjoy a patio experience, there are many opportunities around to make my way to night owl again. Not sure i will choose to return.

The pastries and coffee here is pretty good but its a bit too expensive for me. Also usually its quite busy so you will have a difficult time finding a seat especially if you go during busy hours

Best coffee in orange county. Awesome staff. Makes you feel at home inside the place. Great outdoor area. Have open mic nights (im not a fan but, a lot of people are) and little shows every week.

Solid place. A bit expensive but the atmosphere and service more than make up for it. Great late night spot and decent parking if you have a little patience. Good experiences here.

Best coffee in all of orange and is always busy with a nice atmosphere. Youll find all types of people, art, and music outside. Great coffee shop with amazing coffee as well.
